This is an impartial review of “Dog Car Seat for Small Dogs Up to 16”, Waterfoor Liner Booster Dog Car Seat, Grey 28D High-Density Memory Foam Dog Bed for Car, Pet Car Seat Travel Bed with Storage Pockets, Blanket, Dog Safety Belt”I chose this dog travel bed for the best subversive reason possible; to twist it’s purpose by giving it to basically immobile cats. ðºI found the high edge memory foam walls to be appealingly box and bowl like; a passingly sufficient amalgamation of the cat loafs’ preferred and chosen resting spots.Out of the shrink wrapped/rolled package, the memory foam immediately started to expand and return the pet bed to it’s intended shape. Just as the instructions show, this does take quite some time, in my case almost 36 hours before it fully stopped expanding.My cats found this bed to be very interesting for several minutes, but really didn’t seem to like smell of the dog bed. After initial investigations were complete they promptly claimed the shipping box as their own while I worked to remove the protective coverings from the memory foam bed before washing them with a scentless hypoallergenic soap.After washing, drying and reassembling the dog bed, the floofs were once again very interested in the pet bed, but not nearly as put off as most of the chemical smells had by then been removed or dissipated. For some reason they didn’t seem to like the interior wall of the bed very much until I turned the dog bed inside out so that the pockets were on the inside. (Pictured) This seemed to significantly increase their interest in the bed, especially when a couple small toys and treats were put inside the pockets for them to investigate and retrieve. After becoming accustomed to sitting in the dog bed, they became more comfortable laying down and even napping, discovering the comfort and feline tactical advantage of having high walls along their resting spot. Both of my cats have added this pet bed into their daily nap spot rotation and seem to prefer it over some of the older spots.While I haven’t transported cats or dogs with this bed, the included a clips and attachment points have been very useful to keep the pet bed in place by anchoring it to furniture.While I may not necessarily be taking advantage of all the features for the suggested function of this pet bed, it fulfills the need that I had for a small pet bed with high walls, something I had difficulty finding previously.The pet bed seems to be made out of good quality materials and I did not find any defects or issues with the workmanship of the product. The memory foam seems to be of good quality and wasn’t skimped upon. There was a definite odor detected after unpackaging, but this largely cleared up after washing the removable covers and letting the memory foam fully expand and set. I think this is a pretty good value at under $40.All in all I’m pretty happy with this now-a-cat bed, and my/our feline overlords also appear to be placated by this tribute.. for now.ðº

I got this for my 6lb Papillon. I love that it has a high and dense cushion, so she feels supported while traveling – plus it’s super soft. I also adore the fact that it’s round, like her beloved donut bed! The only reason I took off one star, is because I don’t feel totally secure about the harness attachment strap. It feels like it could be better integrated into the seat/bed itself, and have better adjustment options. Overall, a good option for quick around town trips!

I like everything about this dog car seat. It has a solid feel, even though there are no hard parts in the bed. The foam edges and the thick booster bottom make the dog feel secure, and the two nylon loops in the back allow you to easily guide the car seat belt through them to lock it into the car seat. It’s even easier to slip them back through for quick removal.It comes smashed down and rolled up into a tight log in a plastic vacuum pack. I wouldn’t say it even took a day before the bed had filled into its proper shape from it’s tight packing, like a lot of other things I’ve bought that are vacuum packed.It’s also quite stylish, and the shape makes it contour to the dog’s body as well as the car seat. It also comes with a cute little matching blanket. The only silly thing I did when I took it out of the packing was set it up inside out! It seemed perfectly normal, and quite small, but it I thought it was odd to have pockets on the inside that seemed a bit lose and baggy. Quickly realizing my mistake, I turned it rightside in by popping it through the other way and it was a much bigger bed and the pockets were on the outside and good and tight across, and then of course I noticed the seat belt straps!I got this for my Mother’s 10lb Italian Greyhound, but I think it might be a fit for my Parson Russell Terrier too, so I’m going to have to buy a second one. Very nice, solid and stylish – I highly recommend! And the dog couldn’t wait to get into it.

This product work for larger dogs, smaller dogs get hung up quick on the strap
I liked that this product sits up hug off the seat. Small animals can get hung up with the strap and mine did. She does like to just sit and lay in it in the living room.

All the dogs new favorite.
All the dogs got new beds, I got this on for an outside dog, who sleeps in the heated shop. I opened in the house and let it “breath” and fluff for a couple days, the inside dogs instantly adopted it over their own (very nice and comfy) beds. The bed does fluff out fully and looks just as pictured after a couple days. The side walls are tall and a few inches thick of a solid wall foam. The dogs really seem to like that style, since it gives them more support to curl up in the bed. The bottom cushion is 6″ thick; as the ad says, its a solid piece of foam with egg crate top layer. Solid foam seems like a much more durable and long lived bed material since fluffy poly filling just flattens out or leaves voids over time. The house dogs are 20LB dauschunds this isn’t big enough for them to sprawl out in but they seem pretty comfy curling up in it. It also comes with a little fleece blanket. It’s too small to for them to cover themselves up by rooting around etc. but it’s just big enough to fully cover them when I lay it on them. It comes with straps to tie into the car and the height of the bottom padding would allow them to more easily see out of the window (it would take up one seat in a car, no more) but we’re using this one strictly as a bed and not a car seat.
