The canopy is the best part
Slight issues putting this together but I’m pretty sure that was just user error – sometimes it happens!The canopy, especially in this ridiculous summer sun, is great. I have absolutely no trees in my backyard. No shade of any kind. It’s outrageous. There is a covered porch that runs along the entire backside of the house, but it’s pretty much full of kid stuff, BBQ stuff, chairs, yard tools, etc. Things you wouldn’t want to grab hold of if they’ve been cooking in the sun all day. So the dogs typically don’t hang out there.This dog bed keeps them elevated AND in the shade while they’re outside which is really helpful and I’m sure they appreciate it!

This wasn’t alot of money but 35.00 is cheap .in 2 months this has already ripped. Useless . I have a 12 lb dog . No way should this of happen

I got it for my dog but my cat now owns it…
I set it up in my room to get my dog used to it before I moved it outside. But my cat has taken over and it has become her queendom. She sleeps in it at night, stretched out as long as possible, and lounges with the dog in it all day. She and my dog (both 9lbs) play on it every night before bed – the cat goes underneath and pops her claws up, and the dog tries to pounce before she moves away. It’s pretty cute.I’ve had ones like this before, but never with the cover. I’m astonished at how much cooler it is with the cover. It lets the breeze through, but provides a nice amount of shade. It’s nice quality and seems to be well made. Simple to put together.

The instructions are very easy to read and understand, see pictures.It was fairly easy to get the bottom/bed put together, but when it came to the tent part I really struggled. It is probably pretty normal as it is tight fitting. What I found when putting it together is that it was easiest for me to lay the tent out on the base how it will go on, then I put one pole through each bottom part putting the pole (they call it a plug) into the corresponding corner on the bed frame and then building the rods up from there slipping them in the tent while attaching them to each other. Then when I got to the top I had to really push the rods down until they bent and slipped into place.Once that was done I was able to fix the tent and get it to sit properly. The corners on the bed frame are plastic, as is all the connector pieces for the tent, other than those possibly wearing out/cracking after sun exposure I can see that with proper care it could last quite a while. The darker squares on the bed are actually vented so your pet doesn’t get over heated.My dogs seem to enjoy this in the house, I plan to use this for them while we hand out doors so they can stay shaded but I can continue to work in my garden, and with this being so light weight I can take this pretty much anywhere. The only issue I do have with it is that there is NO tie downs to the ground so if a gust of wind comes up and my little 5lb yorkie is laying on it I am not sure he isn’t going to get taken for a bit of a ride.

This was easy to assemble – at least I heard no ‘words’ from my son lol. Fits my corgi-sized dog perfectly. I jumped on this because my dog loves to lay out on the front porch during nice weather and it’s covered so she gets a lot of shade. We’re moving to a new house with a HUGE back deck that isn’t covered and I want her to have the shade. It did take her a bit to get used to the concept of the elevated bed but, once she did, she went to sleep! lol Great construction. I, personally, will cover it when not in use to protect against the weather and store it during off-seasons. I would definitely recommend this for any pet who needs a shady spot to enjoy the outdoors in.
