Rubber smells like rubber, not fresh-baked cookies
Good price & working fine, since I followed the directions & didn’t run it through the dishwasher or try to clean the smell of rubber out of something made out of rubber. I’ve been careful to not use water over 180F like it says, the initial rubber smell has faded a lot after a couple months, and in all ways this has been a good deal for a hot water bottle I use all the time & a backup I may not need for quite awhile

Heats Wonderfully
We use these at my work all the time. So I decided to ditch my electric warmer, and get these. I gifted one, and kept one.Pros:No need to plug in and be limited to where you can stay warm. Put hot water in, close it up and put it under a blanket- It keeps it so toasty! Iâve used it to keep my toes toasty, my cramps at ease, my little dogs warm, for cold winter days while our wood stove heats the house. Itâs endless!Cons:Itâs a bit thinner than my work ones, and the smell stayed for quite a while. But it wasnât too bad.

i do not recommend this product
A. it smells funny (a chemical smell) that doesnt go away.B. the lid does not close nearly as tightly as other hot water bottles we have had over the years, as a result it loses heat rather quickly, which beats the purpose.After a month i am convinced it is trash. I wanted to return it but my wife insisted it if i send it back “it just goes to trash” and we shiould do our part to save the planet. little did i know, it is trash even if i keep it.

It is exactly as described. Smells a bit like a tire shop, like all natural rubber does. No leaks so far.

Both broke within a year
Save yourself the headache and head in down to your local pharmacy to get one of the tried and true heavy duty bottles your grandma had. Both of these broke within a year after very infrequent use. Neither one was was under duress, and both broke on the non-fill end within weeks of one another after about 11 months. Definitely not the old heavy pharmacy water bottles.
