Truth: My dog is bouncing again!
Two and a half years ago I wrote this but just realized it was never submitted:Our nine year old lab/chow mix has responded amazingly to these vitamins! She showed great improvement within 10 days and she now is once again greeting us, happy to go on long walks, jumping in the car, and even running. We feel so happy about these chewable vitamins, that we told our vet (and the Banfield Clinic) about it and are going to subscribe for monthly delivery! Mitzi loves the flavor and gets very excited to eat her daily dose. Thank you for helping her!Today ( Sept. 2020) I am updating my review : Mitzi is still going strong and responds to her chewable vitamins by drooling and being very excited. She and I experienced the tragic death of my husband and have mourned together for 10 months. She lifts my spirits, gives me purpose to be active, fills the house with warmth and love, and builds new memories for me each day on our long walks. She is the ambassador of the neighborhood and wants to play with other dogs. Mitzi was very stiff and slow 2.5 years ago, and seriously, these Hip + Joint chews totally changed her life. Dogs love them, but not sure they relieve pain the way they suggest
I have beend giving these to both dogs daily. our oldest is 14 and is starting the get arthritis. she still hobbled around after taking them but I think it loosened her up some. I give it to our 9 year old too and he as shown no signs of slowing down yet so we will continue to do so.

16 year old Shepherd mix, quality of life improved
I have tried so many treatments for my dog that I have lost count. At her advanced age, she has so many issues, but still eating and drinking we have done what we can to help her be as comfortable as possible. In the last few months, even the prescription meds were not controlling her pain. Literally within 4 days of starting this chew, she is playing with my 2 year old boxer puppy and moving MUCH better. She loves the chews and has had no upset stomach. I have not gotten her up to the 3 per day as recommended for her weight but pleased with what we are seeing. I want to note she had already been on Cosequin, and we decided to try this as a replacement, I think this is working better. Thank you for giving our Elderly girl some quality of life back!

Way too expensive
I have a 9 year old German Shepherd and I’ve had him on a supplement for years. No hip issues, no joint issues. I hope it helps him live a longer healthier life. If you look at the biggest retailers website, you will find a good hip and joint supplement for MUCH cheaper and same quality.

Just wanted to address couple of the negative reviews
I’ve had my dog on these for ruffly 3 years now I see some of these negative reviews and I just wanted to address couple of them first off dogs can be picky it’s just kinda how it what one dog likes another might not like and some dogs might even throw it up if it doesn’t agree with there stomach and normal diet but it doesn’t mean it’s a bad product just means it’s not the right product for your dog I went through several brands of glucosamine before I found genuine naturals some my dog wouldn’t eat some made her throw up so I get it you just kinda have to experiment and find a brand that you’re dog agrees with unfortunately glucosamine in general with any reputable brands isn’t cheap so it can take a bit of time and money to find the right one for your furry friend but personally I think there worth it. Second I wanted to address the reviews that stated that they saw no results and I completely get how frustrating it can be to watch your pet and best friend be in pain and want to do anything we can to help them well glucosamine and these treats aren’t a miracle cure some people may have better results than others but there not just going to make the pain go away overnight or even 6 months down the road there a supplement just like we would take vitamins to prevent health problems in the future not to say that glucosamine can’t help alleviate some of the joint pain after a period of time it can but it really comes down to the dog and how his or her body reacts to it. When I first got my dog on these 3+ years ago she was having problems walking around getting onto the bed ect. So after plenty of trial and airs I found these and at first she wasn’t to fond of them but I would just mix them into her normal food and maybe after a week or two she started eating them out of my hand straight away and now I actually use them to give her her meds I just stick the pills in them squish them together and technically I’m saving money buy not having to get pill pockets. But honestly I didn’t see any improvement overnight it took a while and now it’s 3+ years later and she’s running around playing she still shows some signs of joint pain but nowere near how bad it was and she’s 13 I honestly believe that if I hadn’t put her on glucosamine when I did she wouldn’t be walking right now. And as I said before my dog did well with these but there’s plenty of other good companies out there and it’s a lot of trail and air but eventually you’ll find one that works well with your pooch so if u have a dog with joint pain don’t get discouraged by no results overnight if your dog likes these with no issues keep them on it because it might not be a noticeable difference right now but I assure you that it will help them later on in life.
