First impressions…
I just received this ramp (the smaller option – 39.4″ L x 15″ W) today. It’s already assembled in the package, so setup was just a matter of removing it from the box and protective cover.It seems sturdy and like it will last for years. The carpet on the ramp seems rugged.It adjusts easily to 6 different heights … I’ve shared photos of the shortest and tallest heights as seen next to a Costco rugged bin (about 14.5″ tall for the shortest height and 24″ at tallest height).It’s light enough to carry without a problem, and it has a handle (not seen in the photos because it’s on the other side).At first glance, the only improvement I can think of is rubber grips on the wooden parts of the ramp that touch the ground. Definitely not a deal breaker or worth docking stars because NONE of my doggy stairs have grips on the bottom. I solve this by setting them on a bath mat – they usually come standard with a no-slip grip on the bottom side of the mat. This ramp is so sturdy that I assume there will be minimal slipping on my hard floors.I’ll update this review if / when necessary.

Wood edges are rough and unfinished
Edit to initial review. The locking in height rod popped out and my elderly dog fell against sofa and landed on the floor. Horrible product! I’m immediately returning product.Ramp seems decently built but wood is sharp and rough on all edges and unfinished. Mechanism for locking in height of ramp is very loose with no method of locking into place. I’m gonna have to sand and stain a brand new product that I purchased. Doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense.

Great for dog with degenerative myelopathy
My pitbull has been progressively losing control of his hind legs due to a genetic condition, and itâs made climbing stairs nearly impossible at this point. We got this ramp to help him get up on the couch to snuggle with us, like he loves.Itâs sturdy, super easy to set up, and slick to adjust to the correct height. I like that the ramp is covered in a carpet rather than a pebbled texture like some. Fully recommend.

My bestie uses this to climb up and have a seat. I used it in the living room and the bedroom. It’s easy to collapse and move to any room.My bestie is over 75 pounds and easily can walk up and down the ramp. It let’s him go up and down as he pleases.Some of the future is tall and is tall enough to reach. It helps him not jump and fall. No assembly and hefty build.

Adjustible height, slip resistant, and sturdy
Our dog is almost 13 years old and has been having problems getting onto the bed and couch, so we bought this for her. It comes ready to use so no need to assemble. it is lightweight but sturdy and has a handle on the side, making it easy to carry around. Height can be adjusted easily to accommodate different bed/sofa heights, and the surface is slip-resistant and my dog feels safe walking on there. We trained our dog twice and she already learned how to use it! Really satisfied and exactly what we need.

I like the height adjustments, but the fabric on this is not very slip resistant. My dogs can’t really climb at the high angle because they slip. So for me, this product is just ok.
