Love this!
This is the perfect size for my outdoor cat house and her bed. I own two and the functionality and quality is wonderful. I care for a long haired stray cat who tends to get matted. I use a pet brush to clean the surface of the heated pad, wash on cold and air dry. She is super fluffy in the winter. Setting 1 is perfect when it is 30-50 degrees outside and setting 2 is perfect for below 30 degrees. I have used setting 3 in her insulated house, but noticed she gets too warm due to her layer of fluff.

Great Cat Mats
I had originally bought these about 7 years ago for a stray cat we could not take in because we already had an indoor cat. These mats are absolutely awesome. I now have 9 cats – 7 of which are taking up in my breezeway and garage. I put some foam insulation under a box, put these mats in the box (with a hole to put the cord through) and then put a small pet cushion or mat on top of these heated mats and the cats are in love. We have had temps down to 18 degrees and they are kept warm even though the garage can get very cold as itâs all concrete. Some of my cats donât even go anywhere all day – go out to do their business and right back in their boxes to enjoy the heat. Also, I have never had any technical difficulties with these mats and Iâve left them on 24 hours (default setting). A great product for any feral or stray cat.

Don’t waste your money on these. I’ve bought 3 and each one has failed in less than a year. The controller reads ‘err’ and shuts the heating off after as little as 1 hour. My poor outdoor cat had no heat on one of the coldest nights. I am so sorry I bought these. I wouldn’t even have given 1 star but can’t submit without

Good product. Took a while to find though, you know with every one trying to sell you everything except what youâre looking for. I liked blanket because it was both for outdoor use and has different setting availability which; by the way are not complicated and easy to use. Itâs perfect since I have an outside dog that sleeps in the garage at night and is out during the day. Sometimes though itâs still a little cold during the day. Product gave me peace of mind concerning my old dog

Perfect temp
I have an outdoor cat that kind of adopted us, and lives in our garage. Instead of buying a shelter, i put a large Styrofoam cooler inside a Rubbermaid tote, and insulated in-between them. Then cut a hole to run the cord out the back. I live in Minnesota where it’s cold, and she thrives with this. When she comes out to greet you, I will put her and can feel very warm fur on one side of her, lol. It’s totally worth the money, especially for the cat/dog

I have an outdoor feral cat who refuses to come inside. I was worried she would freeze in the bad weather. I purchased this not sure if it would work but it’s been excellent. The heating pad works fine. Its functions used to set the temp work fine too.But it’s suppose to be waterproof and it’s not. The pad stopped to work after only a week. The control board was burrowed in the snow. Some water got inside and the internal fuse burned and a PCB trace got burned too. As a electronic repairer, I will be able to restore the pad and it should work like new. And at the same time I will try improve the water resistance of the control panel.Even if the control panel is wet, there is no danger for the pet.An other bad point is that the pad itself can be perforate by cat claws. I will add something inside the pad cover to prevent that.The rest of the parts (cable, control box, washable cover) seems very good.
