Works so much better than any other cat dental treat Iâve seen!
I am in love with this brandâs package presentation, as well as the unique designs of their treats! My kitten loves these so much that Iâll 100% purchase them again AND likely try their dog treats as well. These may seem too large for a cat at first, I was pretty shocked when I opened them up, so I crumbled them onto my catâs kibble and he absolutely loved the taste and had no issue going for the full treat as well (which would also be intended to fully allow your catâs teeth to be cleaned by the treat). My cat goes crazy for these, and the bright colors seem to be done naturally, I believe, which is good. Very happy with this brand. These types of dental treats seem to work so much better than the kibble-styled dental treats. I even think my catâs breath (we adopted him from a shelter, so we had no control on his previous dental care) has improved since adopting him and feeding him these dental treats

Very stage shape and size but the cat does seem to enjoy them
My cat really prefers freeze dried treats to any other type. She seems to be really picky about food textures and the crumbly, dry texture of these sorts of foods really appeals to her. So I am pretty willing to try any freeze dried cat treats with decent ingredients. These ones have pretty good ingredients albeit some strange flavors.The good news is, the strange flavors here do not seem to be major components of the treats, just natural colorations. These all smell strongly of chicken and apparently do not taste any different than normal chicken treats. She likes them a lot and immediately was interested in them. The biggest problem here is the size and shape. They are absolutely enormous and star shaped. This is apparently what makes them a “dental treat”, the pointy sides and the size are meant to encourage gnawing and chewing and subsequently remove tartar from the teeth. The problem is, they are WAY TOO BIG for my cat to actually bite through, soft and flaky though they are. This has caused her to bite too hard into one and actually end up coughing on the shards of treats. I am worried these are actually a choking risk.When cut in half, they seem to work much better for her. They are just way too big as is.

Tasty treats!
My two boys love these treats! While one of my cats is a garbage disposal that will pretty much eat anything, my other kitty is very picky when it comes to what he eats. Thankfully, he really enjoys these! They sit well on their stomachs, which is great because both of them have somewhat sensitive stomachs.The treats are bite sized and easy for them to eat. Theyâre almost a dissolvable consistencyâ thatâs how soft they are. And when I say soft, I donât meant chewy soft, I mean more like a wafer soft.As for the breath freshening factor⦠itâs too early to determine, I think. My boys definitely have wet cat food breath, and I think it probably takes more than one bag to begin to see results. So, I will be ordering more of these in hopes that it will help improve their dental hygiene, as well as because they genuinely enjoy the taste.All in all, Iâm pretty happy with these.

Cats wouldn’t touch it
I tried to give these to my cat and to my sisters cat. Neither cat would touch it. Tried to give it as a treat, and tried to put with their food. Neither cat would so much as lick one of these. Hopefully you have better luck.

I cut mine in half
My cat really likes these. He is a new cat and is pretty picky right now as heâs adjusting still and trying to get used to us. I found that when I gave him a whole piece he pretty much chewed once and attempted to swallow the whole thing. He gagged himself. Heâs a bit dramatic with food now as we are transitioning him from free feeding to timed meals so he eats like heâs never eaten a meal before. I found that it was necessary to cut these in half. That way he can properly chew it and doesnât gag himself. The benefit to that is this goes twice as far. This brand has high quality treats. I tried the pawlipops but my cat bit the stick and ran and then swallowed it. He loved these treats themselves but for us these treats are better for him

Too big
I gave each of my 4 cats one of these treats, and they all seemed to like the smell and taste. However, they just licked and scooted them around the floor, as the size was too big. After I broke them into pieces, these got gobbled up. They usually love any freeze dried treat with such a high composition of chicken (80%). The rest of the ingredients on the list look very healthy, so I can feel good about feeding these. However good, though, the high price for only 1.76 oz would make these cost inhibitive to purchase regularly.

Not standard treats
These things are so big my large cat couldn’t fit them in her mouth and she had to work for a while to figure out what to do before she finally bit off one of the arms of the star. The flavors don’t seem like the kind of things cats will eat but she’s ate all flavors now. She doesn’t beg for them or want more. I’m not sure if they clean her teeth she won’t let me look. Also the ingredient of “rawhide fiber” lets you know these will go straight through your cat. Yes it takes a while for her to chomp one of these down but at least she eats them.

Too big for cats, but dogs LOVE them
I recently tried the MalsiPree Cat Dental Treats for my three cats after the dog version was a huge success. I hoped my cats would love these treats as much as my dog, who adores them.Like the dog chews, the cat version arrived in an adorable star-shaped package from the manufacturer. While I appreciate the packaging, I wish it weren’t so similar to the dog treats so that I could differentiate them more easily. The treats are quite large for cats, making it difficult to use them as snacks. Most cats are not known for being heavy chewers, and given the different textures, it seems they don’t even recognize these treats as food. I did try breaking them up with some success, but even then, only one of my three cats seemed willing to eat them, and she required some convincing.In contrast, my dog loved the cats’ treats right away. However, because she is relatively small and has a smaller jaw, she had to chew them.
