I love it!
I only have one dog but keep the spare in my trunk just in case. This product is easy to use and figure out the set up.I mainly use it on long distance trips to keep my dog from coming up front or being flung around on messy turns and hard stops ð«¢. It does it’s job for sure. The addition of the poop bags and flashlight is a nice touch. The flashlight is really bright and I was able to use it on a cabin trip out of the city. I’m overall very satisfied with this product.

Work great for securing excited dogs for travel
So, we have to transport our dog and family dogs to and from the groomers at least once a month. We needed a way to secure energetic go-go-go dogs from leaping out of the car in their excitement on arrival! It isnât always possible to fit enough crates in the car to house everyone, and not everyone enjoys being buckled in firmly with a doggy seat belt. But this, this looks suspiciously enough like a leash not a single dog protests. They are easy to use, and loop right over the passenger headrests. You can cinch them up to secure, and push down the headrest to lock it in place. Beyond that, itâs as easy as clipping the leash bit to their normal walking harness. No more dogs hopping dangerously into your lap while driving, or attempting to hit the window down button and leaping out â we lead an exciting life, yes we do. It also allows us to keep their normal leashes out of chewing range, because we DO have one energetic husky in the family who feels it is her lifeâs mission to chew unattended leashes, but she leaves this tether leash alone. Thereâs also the doggy poo bags, because while our dog leashes have them, extended familyâs leashes donât always have them, and someone ALWAYS seems to need to go right when we get to the groomerâs. Weâre not leaving that laying around for someone to step in, we pick it up! So far, we couldnât be happier with this answer to securing dogs for transport in our vehicle. They work well, theyâre helping keep our pups safe, they were affordable, and no dog has a problem with how they look or feel. No more worrying about them potentially bolting out the door and into traffic on arrival to the groomers!

Nice leashes for car and walking
First, you do get both leashes that are pictured. I wasn’t 100% sure of this when I ordered and was very happy when I did receive both.I ordered these for our 2 dogs (yellow lab and German Shepherd mix), who are both well over 65 pounds. We wanted a leash that would allow us to walk them, as well as take them in the car if needed. The stitching is holding up well with both dogs pulling while we are walking them. This is where the bungee feature comes in and takes some of the pressure. The latch to the leash is the typical type of latch. It does swivel as well. The seat belt locks into a standard seat belt. The length of both areas of the leash can be made smaller. I wanted to point this out and also showed it in photos, because several reviews mentioned how long the leash is as well as the loop you hold or will hook around you headrest. In order to hook around the headrest, you will need to slide the red button in order to release the clasp. Once clasped together, slide the red button back into place to lock it. In my photo I do NOT have the loop tightened the entire way around the headrest as I slid it over for photos. I did make it smaller and placed on the seat for a photo.Even with the bungee feature, you can tug your dog back if needed. A family member came to visit with their little dog this weekend and the GSH was curious and ok at first. She eventually spiked, growled, and we immediately were able to pull her back.I reduced this a star because even when small, the loop to hold is rather large. Our dogs walk rather well, so we actually did not adjust it smaller until this photo, but I know for others this may be an issue. Also, there is no padding for holding, which some people may not like. To me it makes sense since my needs to go around the headrest if desired for transporting, but some people prefer something to help ability to grip. The poop bags and flashlight are a nice addition. We haven’t used the flashlight. We haven’t taken the strip out from between the batteries even yet. We have used the bags and they are standard bags.We are very satisfied with these.

Headrest seatbelts are the best
This is the second headrest seatbelt that I have acquired. Even though the listing pictures 2 seatbelts, nothing stated that you actually received 2. So I was a little surprised when I did received 2 belts. So now I actually have 3 which is nice. I prefer the headrest seatbelts to the ones that buckle and will most likely stop using the buckle belts all together. This one actually has the standard buckle as well if you ever need it, so if you buy this one and it turns out you prefer the buckle over the headrest, you can still use it. There are a couple reasons why I prefer to use the headrest. First, the hard, plastic seat buckle attached to the safety belt sticks up and pokes my dog in the ribs when he tries to lay down in the seat. When I use the headrest, I can tuck those bulky buckles back into the seat and out of the way. Next, although he’s still unable to jump from the seat, having the seatbelt fastened above him (instead of below), he can more easily shift his position in the seat and not “feel” so confined. These headrest seatbelts, in my opinion, just provide more comfort for my dog. And that’s important to me because he is such an anxious rider. Less stress for him also means less stress for me. This seatbelt is a pretty sweet deal, considering you not only get 2 seatbelts, but also a poop bag holder with a roll of bags. The holder has a light on it. That will come in handy when having to bag poop in the dark.
