I wish I had this sooner and I love it! It makes working outside in the 100+ heat so much better…
I have always been hot-blooded and tend to sweat profusely! I bought this in hopes of working outside more comfortably as our temps here in summer sit around 105+ for July and August and working outside and then already being hot-blooded isn’t exactly fun.This is exactly what I needed and I am happy that it is doing what I expected the vest to do. The 8 or so ice packs it came with work well and have a gel powder inside of them that activates when you fill them on initial setup and that work well and keeps them nice and cool too. I am not sure if this would have been worth the full list price, but it is very worth the sale price I bought it at and I couldn’t be happier!I tend to put ice cubes in the water pouch for the first use each time with the water and then one or two of the ice packs depending on how hot it is outside and what I am doing and then generally end up on “green” pulsed/cycle on and off mode so that it’s not quite so cold but a nice steady cooling overall with an extended run period.I can go a few hours solid on an ice pack working hard outside before changing out the ice pack and am very pleased overall. I might have to try getting one size smaller vest too eventually but the XX-Large one I bought is very adjustable and could go down to maybe even a Medium overall.I will update this review in time if needed but do not expect any real troubles as it is of quality materials and workmanship and works as expected since swapping the pump hoses around. At first, when I received it, I found that the hoses were backward and it was not picking water up at the bottom port within the “water pouch” section where it is supposed to feed the pump the cool water. Swapping the two on the pump corrected this and I have had no other problems since then.

I bought one of these for my father-in-law and he loved it so much that I bought one for my husband. They both use them in this unbearably hot weather heat while they work outside. They both said it keeps them cool and like that it comes with plenty of ice packs.
