Easy to travel with and one of two dogs like it
Overall this is a good travel crate. If you can call it a crate. Really itâs a dog tent and one of my dogs barely left it in a recent trip to the beach. It is pretty sturdy, and easy to open and setup. My dog wouldnât break through it if it were closed, but a more aggressive dog could. I should mention the way the front entrance is designed is a bit weird. My dog has to duck to get in. He a medium 48lb collie. Otherwise although itâs a bit smaller than his normal crate, he has plenty of room to maneuver inside. His twin brother who loves the crate at home, wouldnât give it a second look. I think he might not have liked the idea of ducking to get in. If you look at the pictures youâll see the entrance opening is about 3â down. Unlike his crate at home that has basically no lip on the top or bottom of the entrance. I might keep it cause I hate to have a crate for one and not the other.Must not give one child special treatment.Iâd recommend this. But for what it is. Itâs not a full on crate. Itâs just a nice place to sleep and feel safe if thatâs your thing.

Great for kitty car travel
I purchased this (the 24″ version) via Amazon in preparation for moving across the country (TX to MI) which, with a cat, takes about 2.5 days of car travel. I’ve found it to be a fantastic purchase for several reasons. My cat is between 8.5 and 9.0 lbs, and most hard-shell cases just aren’t big enough for her to stand up and stretch, so I didn’t want to use my old one for anything more than a quick trip to the vet. This GoPetClub 24″ carrier is VERY roomie for her, allowing her to stand, stretch, walk in circles, curiously peek up front, sleep/hide in back, etc. It still fits in the back of my Honda Civic…fits easily if going long-ways across the backseat, and can fit facing forward if I move-up the front passenger seat before loading the carrier, and then move the passenger seat back into position. The carrier is soft all around, so if/when jostled, my cat doesn’t bump against anything hard. Admittedly, it can be a little awkward to carry when she scoots all the way to the back (or front) because her weight isn’t balanced, but this is a pretty minor issue. We normally load it on a luggage cart at the hotel anyways. The windows have shades that roll down on the sides so you can let your cat see outside or close her off to rest, depending on her temperament at the moment of course! As noted in another review, I was worried about “accidents” as well, since it’s a soft bottom. I didn’t know that there was particle board beneath, as noted in that other review, so I’m glad I haven’t had that problem yet! When I first took my cat in it, I lined it with a puppy pad (training pad used while house-breaking a dog, VERY absorbent) just in case; you can get them pretty cheaply on Amazon, though you may end up with a whole bunch you’ll never ever need. 🙂 My vet also suggested buying a cheap plastic picnic-like table cloth at the local dollar store to put underneath the whole carrier to protect the upholstered car seat. I trusted the puppy pad, but I figured someone out there might like the idea. :)I’ve been very happy with the carrier and would gladly recommend it to anyone. The dimensions listed on the specific Amazon page — length, wide, and height — accurately matched the product that arrived, so I have had no need to contact the company and experience their customer service. It seems that if the wrong item were shipped, it would be Amazon’s fault, and most people seem to regard Amazon’s customer service as very good. If the wrong item were ordered, that would seem to be a user error, and although perhaps the company’s customer service is poor as detailed on one review, it’s a risk I was happy to take, given the quality of the item, the great price, and the fact that I saw dimensions specifically listed which I felt would be appropriate for my pet and my vehicle.Happy shopping!

24″ GREEN MODEL WORKS PERFECTLY FOR OUR 15 POUND DOG – MAY NOT BE CAT WORTHY
This is one of the best purchases I have ever made here at Amazon. I knew there had to be a solution to traveling with our knocking-the-walls, hard-sided, wire door kennel, and am so glad I found this. We have used this for occasional kenneling (when we travel or need need to have our dog completely separate from the room where she is usually kennels at meals and bedtime) for our 15 pound mellow Bichon, without a single problem and after two years, I can call this durable. The green, 24″ model offers her enough room to comfortably walk into, easily turn around, and have enough space for a cozy blanket or comfort stuffed animal. 😉 She has always been happy to go into it.It is:Easy to carryEasy to wash (could be hosed if needed)Easy to assembleEasy to collapseEasy to fit in carEasy to carry into a guest house, elevator, hotel, etc.Easy to adjust windows and flapsEasy to stake (if using outdoors)I strongly suspect this would not work well for airline travel or an escape artist, such as a cat who knew what their claws were capable of, or a dog who had serious anxiety issues or “I’m breaking out of here!” mentality. (I say this having a beloved 20 pound Lhasa Apso that would have taken this down in 10 minutes flat.)This would also NOT work if you have the idea that a pet is to spend the majority of their life in it. (In which case, you would not want a kennel, but a rescue to find your dog a better home.)Enjoy! 🙂
