good quality
This thing is super tough, looks great, and definitely worth the price! I was so excited when I got it and saw it in personâitâs exactly as described. It helps slow my lab down so he takes about 10-12 minutes to finish his food, which is exactly what I needed. The quality is fantastic, and Iâve been using it for his treatsâhe canât chew it up, and he loves getting the treats out. He usually eats so fast and is always hungry, but this has slowed him down and keeps him entertained, giving us a much-needed break! The ball holds about 2 cups of kibble and keeps our heeler busy for about 30 minutes as he rolls it around on our tile and wood floors while eating his breakfast. Plus, it’s environmentally friendly, which is a nice bonus!

Really forces my dog to eat slower
Before my dog would scarf down their food as if we were starving them, but then would end up throwing it up because they ate too fast. Plus there were a few times we had to give them the Heimlich maneuver because they were choking. With this feeder, it all comes apart so when it comes time to wash it, I’m able to completely wash and clean this feeder out. I does fit on my dish rack too. While it did take about a week for them to finally figure out that you have to spin it in order to get more food, it has caused them to really slow down on their eating but more importantly, they no longer get sick after they eat nor have they had any more choking episodes like they used to. Really has helped out a lot and found this to work way better than just the regular slow feeders.

My puppy eats as routine
This bowl is awesome for the price and do exactly what I needed! My puppy used to eat so fast she’d throw up right after, but since using these, no more vomiting! We also use one for water since she drinks too quickly, and these bowls slow her down just right. They hold more than I thought, are super durable, and have non-slip grips. Feeding time is way easier nowânothing huge, but it definitely makes a difference. Plus, theyâre easy to clean, lightweight, and simple to use.

Dirty and used
Received a dirty used dog feeder.

Personally think itâs a better fit for smaller dogs.
Would not recommend for larger breeds. My Rottweiler realized in less than 30 seconds if she tips it the food will come out. Seems like itâs built well. Fits her size kibble. Design itself flawed for a larger breed that can tip it or a breed smart enough to learn.

Fun, enrichment toy for my pup
My pup, (or full grown Shepherd, same thing, right?} is very inquisitive by nature. He’s always ready to inspect the groceries, any mail or packages that may come in. I figured since I’m home most days and am mostly by the computer, he might need something to keep his mind active, if even for just 10-15 minutes or so. This toy lets him get sniffing, having ventilated holes pre-made into the clear compartments, and this will get his mind working and his body moving for a few times a day. Unlike similar trays, this has a singular “slot” that encompasses the circumference of the bowl. You can fill it with just treats, or dog food, or both if you like to make this more appealing to your pet. There is an adjustable setting to this which is also great, allowing you to further limit how much food spills out at once to slow / speed up the eating process. I would say to avoid using a substantial amount of wet food in the center of the bowl as there would definitely be a higher chance of crumbs and overall buildup in the crevices, but if you are going to use this as a feeder, it is definitely great for that purpose. The need for the dog to move the bowl parts to make the food come out, does not let them gobble food like crazy, avoiding gas, bloat or other harmful digestive side effects. The suction cups let it remain firm on the floor while your pet eats and the overall cleanup process takes mere minutes!

Great
My neighbors are incredibly kind, often inviting my kids over to play with theirs and taking them to the park. I wanted to do something nice for their new dog, Betty , so I decided to get her a feeder puzzle. Betty took to it right away and seemed eager to play! Itâs been delightful to watch her have so much fun with it. This puzzle not only entertains her but also helps slow down her eating if she tends to gobble her food too quickly or is on a diet. Itâs a fantastic gift for an energetic dog that needs some engaging activities!

Dog Puzzle Toy Feeder
I believe that the design is well thought out, and it is the perfect size for my dog, who is in between a medium and a substantial size. In order to keep my dog interested for a longer period of time, the spinning lid makes it somewhat more difficult for him to get the goodies. Because it requires them to slow down and work for their food, I believe that this puzzle toy is ideal for dogs who have a tendency to consume their food at an excessively rapid pace. Mealtimes for him are made more enjoyable by the fact that the sections are just deep enough to accommodate kibble or little treats. The cloth has a wonderful and long-lasting feel to it. My dog is really passionate about pawing and prodding in order to receive his rewards, and I believe that it is solid enough to take all of that. Despite the fact that my dog can be rather harsh with his toys, it has been holding up incredibly well and have not shown any symptoms of damage thus far. Considering that my dog has a tendency to lick and gnaw on everything, I am thankful that the plastic that is utilized is safe. By repositioning the lid in a manner that either makes it simpler or more challenging for my dog to spin, I am able to change the level of difficulty. I believe that this is a fantastic way to maintain his attention over time since it allows me to keep him challenged even as he becomes more acquainted with the item. I have experimented with different puzzle feeders in the past, and most of the time, they wind up being either too easy or too difficult to use. However, this particular feeder hits a perfect balance between the two extremes.
