Carlos (my cat) fits all stretched out and he loves it. First cat bed ever that he actually used when I set it down. Holy cow man!

Fits large crate perfectly with no side gaps
Sheppa, our Shepard/ Husky mix needed a new bed. Hubby & I made the mistake of buying her an amazing bed that she loved, but no removable cover. It smelled bad. I spot cleaned that thing a lot, used pet safe enzyme spray & actually did wash it one time in my machine, it has a removable agitator, which worked fine, but the drying time…ugh. Sheppa was not pleased with the imposter of a bed I stuck in her cage while the other dried. She literally tried to pull her bed down off the stair railing outside in the sun, where I had it drying, & drag it back through her dog door 🤦 lol. So, when that one was sufficiently stinky again this time around, I decided it was time. We had a funeral for the old bed…no I’m kidding lol, but I was concerned there would be husky protesting going on if the new bed did not meet her standards, ever seen a video of a annoyed husky? 🤦 However, this bed is a winner!It comes vacuum packed & is in 3 pieces. Let it expand some. The internal structure of the bed comes separated, the bulster & then the middle pad of the bed. They both go into separate spots of the cover. I went around the bolster fluffing with my hands, kneading the filling & it filled out nicely. The middle is an egg crate design & that was my only disappointment on the bed. It was folded in 3, so it left fold marks that stuck up, I tried working them out with not much luck. I wasn’t going to risk the dryer because those things can melt some. It also was pretty flat even after it expanded for a bit, so I went ahead & put it into it’s designated zipper in the cover, then added a standard bed pillow under it. We had extras lying around & this one was a little bit flat, it worked great in the dog bed. It filled out the middle really well & she loves the support & softness.The the zippers are made well & I had no problem closing them. Take your time working the bolster in as you go around, it might seem like it’s not going to fit, it will & the tightness is what gives that support. Put your hand between the bolster & zipper as you zip with the other hand so the fabric is not constantly getting caught in the zipper.It doesn’t shed, thank goodness. I can use my vacuum & vacuumed the edges & all over to get rid of sand, dander & dog fur. I’ve already spot cleaned this fabric a few times & it came clean very nicely. I have not laundered the entire thing yet, but I don’t see there being an issue.Her last bed was just an inch or 2 short for her crate, but this one is perfect. The bottom is slip proof so if it doesn’t quite fit your cage perfectly or you have it in an open area, it doesn’t slip around. Sometimes Sheppa dives off her bed & pushes off, we’ve had them go flying backwards 5 ft in the past.I absolutely appreciate that this is waterproof. I know that when I take the cover off to wash it, the bed stuffing isn’t going to be gross & smelly.She loves this thing, more than her last bed. In fact, before we tossed the old one, I put both out on the floor & let her choose. I figured it lets her know we are not taking away something she loves, but providing a better option. This may seem silly, but she is so smart sometimes I am amazed, too smart, she’s a stinker. Well, she choose the new bed, so I felt no remorse tossing the old. This seems like it’s going to be around for a good while.
