My dogs pads dry out fast in the summer and crack. I used this just once and in 20 min they are soft again. I use it once a week when I trim her nails and I see it helping.If I used it more often I am sure it would help really heal the cracks right up but I think this way is doing good.

My puppy was having dry paws, I rubbed a little of the balm on her pads and the next morning the roughness was gone and her pads were soft. The balm did not irritate my pup at all.

I’ve only applied it twice so far and it’s really soothed my dogs rough paw pads. I live in an apartment so I have to walk my dog a lot and on all sorts of terrain. This stuff has really moisturized his pads! They used to be pretty scratchy that they hurt if he jumped on me, but now they’re pretty soft! I’m actually really happy I bought this-seems to make him happy too!Only downside, my dog wants to lick it off, but I just distract him with treats or a toy until it’s mostly absorbed.

Hyperkeratosis is gone!
I had never heard of hyperkeratosis, let alone ever have a dog with it. My vet told me to put bag balm on her paws. That lasted one try. Way to greasy and she kept licking her feet. I purchased several other brands of paw cream and she hated them all except for this one. Now, I wouldn’t say it is a cream, like a lotion, but it is not as greasy as the others and rubs in completely so she is not making a mess of the floors. She does not try and lick her paws. We apply once a day after getting her paws wet (we play in the water) as you can see by the pictures it is almost all gone: 1st – 2 pics 4/28/22, 3rd pic 5/31/22, 4th pic 6/11/22.

Use this on my dog & it works well. She licks her paws after I apply it so I just have to keep an eye on her for a bit until she gets distracted by something else. Definitely helps with rough paws.

It’s just fall but just used this on my new luppy’s paws. It goes on well and no bad smell. I hope it will work in colder weather but good for fall so far

I wouldn’t use this as a balm before taking a walk since it’s not very water repelling or resistant unlike another greasy one that I use for those purposes. This one is good to put on her paw pads after a walk when she’s resting. I saw great improvement and see no more cracks in her paws even if we’re in mid January. :)Happy discovery.
