Snuggly and toasty warm
This works great. I replaced the old warming mats. They were getting stiff and not warming as well as they did. They were pretty old. Old Mister is cozy and dry, the mat is padded and doesn’t burn him, keeps his house warm along with the heater and heated water dish. It keeps his house perfect with the thermostat built in. Great for outdoor shelters
I bought for use in my outdoor cat shelter for the neighborhood strays! They love it. Keeps them warm in their shelter even when outside temps dropped to nearly -10 degrees!

cozy pad, not for large pets
I ordered this during the heatwave and temps are over a hundred degrees right now so my cats are not interested in trying out this heating pad yet. I’m pretty sure though that when winter sets in a few months from now they will be thrilled with this. I did plug it in to test it and it seems to warm up to a semi warm temperature that is cozy but not hot. My kittens are grown now so I don’t have to worry anymore about them chewing on cords but its soft velvet and a very pretty shade of blue. It’s only big enough for a small cat, my fatter cats are too big for it. To help you visualize the size of the mat, take two sheets of regular 8×10.5 papers and place them vertically side by side. Winter is here so I’m back with an update and I’ve been leaving it on at night and my female cat favers it. I also am feeling confident with leaving it on in the next room.
