The thick water proof cord is solid. It is also very long if you don’t have a close outlet. Love the timer and the ability to adjust the temperature. My outside stray cat sleeps in his house with this every night. Very soft. Worth the money.

Handles a large dog or several cats. The pad is a little stiff but the animals do not mind. In freezing temps the pad should be in an enclosed doghouse. The instructions are non-existent. Just figure out the controls yourself. Best feature is the timer for two to 12 hours.

Quality Meh…
I found this heating pad to be quite thin. I have another product that is thick and plush. I put this on L2 and it took a minute to reach the desired temperature. I do like that the cord is chew resistant which is a big plus. The material lacked the softness or quality that we expected. Plus, I want to set it and not worry about it. This one has to be reset after 24 hours. My pet went back to the old product because that stays warm all the time. It’s plain and drab.
