Something new and different for my girlâ¦
Since my ham already has Aspen chips, Aspen shavings, coco chips, coco fiber, corn cob bedding, cork granules, dessert sand, and Niteangelâs âpurple labelâ toilet sand in her enclosure/dig boxes, I was looking for something new to add in. Iâve never seen buckwheat hulls offered as a substrate for hamsters, so when I stumbled upon this I was very intrigued. After checking that they were safe, I knew I had to try them out.I donât recommend using them for bedding however, since they donât hold a burrow. It would also require many many many bags to fill a proper sized enclosure. As for a dig box though, the amount is perfect.

My rat doesn’t really like it.
Sukh Small Animal Pet Bedding – Natural Bedding Hamster BeddingThis bedding comes vacuum sealed which is great so it’s fresh when you get it and open it. Colorful and a nice unique texture from most standard bedding. It does have an aroma to it though which is flowery smelling. I got this for my pet rat that ended up becoming a pet due to not being able to be for his original purpose. He doesn’t seem to like it all, he would normally go in his little house and dig at it and make a bed with normal pine bedding but with this he is avoiding even touching it. He is getting on his shelves and on top of his house and just sits there. I will have to change it out and go back to normal bedding I think due to this. Other small pets may like it but my big guy does not.

Danish Loves It!
It smells very good, I know I used to get a bunch of flower path packs and they would be so overwhelming it was disgusting- but I needed to get him some substrate and this looked good. He likes to play and dig in it. Didnât have any bugs as far as I could tell, I had put it in the freezer for a day though.

Smells absolutely amazing!
I sprinkled this around in my rabbit, mice, rat and hedgehog habitats and I no longer smell their litter boxes! My bunny likes to roll in it and in turn smells absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Great vacuum sealed packaging and smells amazing
Iâm going to be using this as a digging substrate for my dwarf hamster max. Heâs already got a sand box, ground up coconut, digging box and now this one. Iâm a firm believer and the digging boxes they give so much entertainment to the hamster and it is natural for the environment and for the Hamster.

Love this
This is a great addition to our hamster cage. He takes regular bedding and puts it all in the corner of his pen. He leaves this on the bottom on the other half. It helps to absorb the mositure from him. He loves the dried flowers that is in it. And it’s very pretty. Highly recommend.
