Great quality socks! They work fantastic to prevent licking on legs & feet 🐾
My dog has recently started to obsessively lick a papilloma (wart) growing on his ankle. While waiting for his “non-emergency” appointment at the vet to approach, (which is still a ways out), I started ordering lick prevention devices from Amazon. First was an inflatable donut collar, which didn’t work out. He’s old & blind in one eye, and the neck restraint made him buck like a wild bull. No bueño for a senior dog who could end up injuring himself. My next deterrent was these socks. They’re actually long enough, (almost 6″), which provides adequate cover for his ankle wart, and prevents the incessant licking.He’s a 12lb shorkie-tzu, so I ordered the small and they are the perfect size. The way they fit him is similar to a thigh high for a human. I’m only using one sock right now for our purpose, but they come in a pack of four. There are separate velcro wraps included for the legs, which securely attach onto the sock with a 2 part snap. The velcro has enough length to loop around his little leg twice. The velcros are necessary to prevent dogs from kicking the footwear off. If you’ve ever seen a video of a dog in shoes or socks, you already know that they do the walking high kicks when their paw pads are covered. They use their pads for tactile sensations when walking, so when their pads are covered up, they can’t feel the floor anymore. This can be disorienting for them until they get used to wearing footwear.These aren’t shoes though. They are thicker material woven socks with grippy dots on the both sides of the foot portion. There’s no hard bottom (i.e. sole), so I don’t think they’d be ideal for outdoor use. They would work (for a while) on paved surfaces like sidewalks and such, but they won’t provide any protection against the outdoor elements. I think these are best suited for indoor use. They actually work fantastic as a licking deterrent on the legs/feet for hot spots & other skin irritations.The quality of these doggie socks is surprisingly really good for the price, and undoubtedly worth a 5 star rating! I’m so glad I got them because my little old man actually adjusted to them quickly, they stay up & on his leg, and they’re protecting him from being able to lick his growth, which was starting to show signs of developing a hot spot.

Perfect for any dog!
I got these for my small dog since winter is here and the ground is cold outside. These definitely help his feet stay warm, before he used these he would limp inside but after wearing these, he comes inside perfectly. Along with this, These are great for any size dog. We’ve tried many kinds of socks for my dog but these are the only ones that has worked! My dog always takes off the socks but the velcro helps keep the socks on his feet so he can’t pull thhem off! The velcro is removable and very easy to add or remove to the socks. The socks quality is great and they are also great indoor socks. My dog does not slip around the house with these on, he doesn’t leave claw marks in out couch and curtains either! I love how useful these socks are and I would 100% recommend these!

Not bad
These do work better than others I’ve tried but they do occasionally still slip off. I bought them for my 6 lb dog who’s in a wheel chair and needs traction on the wood floors.
