    Really Works
This stuff really works on dry noses and paws. And it works fast! We noticed a difference in a week. Our dog’s nose was no longer dry. Paws pads went from dry, rough, and black to soft and grey and pink in color.

I cant live without this. It makes life worth exploring!
-This is a must for dog owners!I got my rot mastiff when she was 6 months old in Nov 2015. The people who owned her before me scared her of getting her nails cut at home. (She had no problem at the vet but not groomers.) But I grew up cutting my own dogs nails. So I wanted to find a way for me to do it at home. I gave this a try because she can eat it. That gave her peace of mind so I was able to hold her paws and gain her trust so I can cut her nails. This is her favorite treat on earth. She gets so excited. I put it on after I take her out to go the bathroom before bed. (I live in apartment in a village of a town so there is a lot of salt in the winter and we go on walk so much that her paws really take a beating and my dog refuses to wear boots causing her paw pads to,dry very quietly which cracks her pads. So I have to keep them healthy so she can enjoy exploring and not be in pain.) I have never seen something that keeps her paws so healthy and that my dog sees it more like a treat than a chore. I would recommend this to everyone. It is a small container but you really don’t need a lot. I can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner.

Dog Doesn’t Like it, Works Well
Three dogs, dry scratchy paws, mine had the worst.Used it on all 3, of course mine HATES the smell. When I say smell, there really isn’t any. It smells vaguely of fresh hay, a nice smell, not pufumey.I put it on him and the two girls anyway. It soaked in quickly – no greasy footprints on the bedspread or carpet! Yay! (Coconut oil leaves greasy stains everywhere)Noticed a difference the next day. Paws were less scratchy for sure. It’s getting 4 stars because I had used one years ago that was a sample from a pet expo.I don’t even think they are around anymore. But it worked well and my dog didn’t mind it.So they are only getting 4 stars because my dog is apparently a prima donna.Try it, you – and your dog – will find it useful.

    Pup Approved!
Abigail PuppytailDog, an 8 year old borador (that’s a border collie/labrador mix – but she prefers the proper nomenclature), loves to run, play, hike, swim, fetch ball/frisbee and patrol her yard with vigilance to ensure that no neighborhood cat, squirrel, rabbit or skunk passes the DMZ marked by the fence.Recently she’s started spending a great deal of time gnawing at the pads of her paws. All this work has caused some ridges to form on a few of the pads and I believe she’s been trying to address that instinctually by nibbling away at the callus which has formed. I purchased a jar in the hopes that she’d let me apply this to her paws to soften/heal the callus and cracks that have formed from her daily chores/work.Normally Abigail will let me inspect the paws once a day in the morning. She’s not the kind of dog that you get to pet/cuddle/hug whenever you want – she’s affectionate but on her terms. There’s far too many things to do for her to be bothered by her hooman pestering her with skirtches, pats and rubbings when they aren’t on the schedule. So the morning after the jar arrived I showed it to her, opened it and let her sniff. She made no complaint – her complaints are pretty obvious! She remained on her side and let me apply a bit to each pad on each paw, making no warning growls indicating displeasure.About a week has gone by and now if I show her the jar she’ll let me apply a bit to the paws even after the morning ritual of the schnorgle. Abigail seems to very much enjoy the effect of the contents of this jar and while the licking of the paws has not stopped completely – a girl must keep her toes clean – she has largely stopped gnawing at the pads on her paws.Abigail’s only complaint is that for a bit after applying the ointment her paws are extra slippery on the wood floors of the house she lives in. Other than that she seems to be perfectly content with the effect, scent and result of applying the ointment a couple of times a day. Her hooman is satisfied but wishes only that the jar were larger at the asking price.TLDR: Working dog approved!

Good Product, but Causes Incessant Licking
I like the feel of this balm. It has a nice texture that actually makes it enjoyable to apply to my dog’s pads. I can definitely see that it would help resolve chapped pad skin. However, the issue I have is that when I apply it, my dog wants to incessantly lick his paws, which only makes them worse. I can distract him all I want for an hour or more after application, but he eventually goes back to licking. I’ve used other creams and treatments that he won’t lick, so it leads me to believe there’s something about the way it smells or feels that induces the licking from my pup.I don’t think I should have to monitor my dog and “correct” him for licking something I put on him artificially. But your mileage may vary. Maybe your dog will be perfectly fine with it!

    Great for my Dog!
My Boxer has a dry nose, paws and elbows. Other products tend to have a smell/fragrance that makes her try to get out of putting it on or she immediately wants to lick it off. This product does not have a fragrance and goes on well, without needing gobs for coverage. I gently dab it on the top of her nose, rub it into her elbows and into her paw pads at bedtime so she can soak it up instead of walking on it or resting on her elbows, which would remove it. This is my 2nd purchase of the product and we will buy it again.

Product is amazing, it goes on easy (2-daschunds) and they love the taste and smell of it. I’ve noticed softer noses in just a few days. My concern has been with the South Texas heat that their paws and nose would start cracking and I just want to be proactive. They absolutely love it. It is a little harder to do their paws as they walk around and lick it off and it leaves a slight greasy trail for a little bit. Little pricey but well worth it, would buy again. Happy with order. Tube is smaller than expected but that’s just me not reading the size of the tube. Should last a good amount, just coat my finger and apply.

Our pup enjoyed the experience so much that when our back was turned, eat the rest of the jar. In a panicked state we contacted the seller who immediately gave reassuring advice and put us at our ease. The product is 5 but for customer service it’s way more than that. Thank you Melissa.

My rescue dog had very sore feet from being in kennels for 4 weeks and this balm has helped to clear them up so we can do our long walks. He must have liked it as caught him chewing the lid off to get to the contents, but his feet are well healed after a few applications.

Very expensive for a tiny amount of balm.It may last for a long time on a small dog’s nose, but it went very quickly when used on my Rottweiler’s four paws !
