Perfect for Elderly with Anxiety
My elderly mother has some cognitive decline that gets worse when she is anxious. She fell recently and required hospitilization which meant she was in a strange place and in pain. This cuddle bud has been the perfect companion for her. It’s so soft and snuggly. She is able to self soothe and calm down just petting “Century” and snuggling him close.

It is nicely weighted, and I definitely would buy again. But, the weight does pull on the seams, esp. if you carry him by his head- I had to reinforce the neck seam.

Fell apart after 4 uses
I bought this weighted dog for my classroom to pass around during our morning meeting time. Itâs soft, cute, and the kids loved it. Unfortunately the weighted beads inside arenât compartmentalized and flow freely throughout the inside. This causes the weight to be distributed unevenly and for wear to occur at the seams. Sure enough, after only 4 uses of being gently passed around our morning circle, two rips in the seams occurred. One at the foot and one down the spine. I sewed both holes up and added my own seams at the top of each limb to keep the beads inside each plus some in the tummy area, rather than freely moving to each end of the dog. Hopefully this will prevent future tears/rips from happening.
