Moist heat really helps relieve pain in my shoulder!
I canât believe how much this has helped. The moist heat has really made the difference.I recently had my third surgery on the same shoulder. It hasnât healed as well as the others. My physical therapist suggested using a moist heating pad in between using ice. It has really made a difference and managing the pain. Great quality, long cord, and I really love the auto shut off. I havenât noticed any smell or odor. The foam pad inside stays moist for a long time. Period. It actually seems to be softening some of the scar tissue, which was also creating a lot of pain. I prefer the high setting. It gets warmest when you cover the pad with A light blanket or something. It holds the heat in better.

I suffer from plantar fascitis pain and it has been a huge help in calming down flares and works wonders for PMS too ladies. I highly recommend. I also use it for back pain relief, it does help. Small enough to take to work with me, which I tend to do on the night shifts, but big enough to cover enough surface area for treatment. I never had to wet the sponge inside to get it warm enough to be effective…I think it gets pretty warm without doing that.

Plug is hot when not turned on.
I would be ok with this product with two changes. First it concerns me that the plug stays hot enough to warm items touching it when heat pad is turned off but plugged in. Therefore it cannot be plugged in except when in use.Second there could be a setting lower than the current lowest setting.

Lesson learned
I am aware there is a 2 year warranty on this heating pad, but I am not someone, fortunately, who needs to use one all that much. But when I did today, it did not turn on. Shame, maybe it was used 2-3 times in the time I owned it. I have had cheaper ones that lasted for years. You would expect this to last longer. They questioned where I stored it, it was stored in the original box in the a linen closet, probably like most people. NEVER AGAIN !!

The cat loves it!
Our 13yo cat loves to be warm all the time, so I bought this pad for her chair. I use the lowest level and she falls right to sleep. Nice long cord and auto shut off. The cover comes off for washing which is one of the reasons I bought this brand. It does take a bit longer to warm up, but once it does, it stays even right to shut off. A good buy.

This was bought for a trip away where I needed the heat for my back but could not take a bulky electric blanket. Have used it also when sitting in my chair to ease my back especially useful to me as a disabled person, though you may wish to wrap a soft towel round it as with my very painful back I can feel the wires the towel worked. Long enough lead, heats up jolly fast! Highly recommended.

itâs brilliant for pains and aches! really soothes me and especially when itâs cold at night on your feet! cannot wait to use it in the winter.only thing i will say is i donât know if itâs just mine but mine will get really hot and stay hot for about 10 mins and then will go back cold and stay cold and i have to turn it off and turn it back on for it to go hot again. very strange
