Always Looking for the Truth –
Just what we needed for our sick guinea pig!
The tablets dissolve almost immediately in water, which is great, as I am using them to supplement the Oxbow Critical Care that I am feeding our very sick 5 and almost a half year old guinea pig. I just dissolve four of them in water, and add it to the Critical Care before I feed her. That may be too much for some situations, but it seems to be helping her a lot. She loves the taste of them, too, even though she cannot chew them right now, due to some tooth issues, but I have let her lick them, and she loves them. These are much better, in my opinion, than the drops that are added to water, as Vitamin C loses its efficacy rapidly. Great product!

Nope
The guinea pigs won’t eat it. At first they sniffed it, then one took a tiny nibble and waddled away. Our piggies do seem to be a bit picky, though. They won’t eat a lot of things other piggies will eat.

Great product
I got this for my baby bunny because she often sneezes and has a runny nose. I tried using the baby nasal drops as my vet suggested but that is really not easy to do on a very squirmy and fast rabbit with very sharp nails. So I find giving these Vitamin C tablets a life saver. I give her one tab a day and she loves it. And most of all, it really helped to clear up her allergies. She sneezes much less now and no more crusty nose!

Picky, old guinea pig likes them.
We bought vitamin C tablets after our vet recommended them over the drops. Our guinea pig is seven years old!! She is quite picky in her old age, but loves these tablets. We were skeptical that she would eat them as she didnât like any of the other vitamin C tablets/wafers we bought. She doesnât turn her nose up as these, so I guess they are tasty. Over the last couple of years, she has developed issues due to vitamin C deficiency, but these tablets seem to keep them at bay. Weâre on our second bag. Works for us!

Sick guinea pig wonât eat the tablet. Not sure about this one.
Tablets taste fine but my guinea pig wonât eat it. Iâm not into force feeding unless absolutely necessary. The appetite restore product from this vendor worked miracles, I hope she develops taste for these tablets.

Picky Chinchilla’s LOVES them!
Like guinea pigs, vitamin C is essential for chinchillas to live long healthy lives. Many pet stores will state that chinchilla’s average lifespan is 8-10 years, but with supplemented vitamin c, they can live up to 20 years. If you are immersed in the chinchilla community, you will hear this left & right. When I had my first chinchilla Chi, I didn’t know this & he died at 8 years old… Now I know better & have had 4 chinchilla’s since then that have all been supplemented with vitamin C, who have all lived over 15 years old (my girl Pepper is 22 years old). Vitamin C prevents connective tissue & cardiovascular disease in chinchillas. My girls are SUPER picky, but they love these! I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!!

Very effective supplement!
We got these for my daughterâs guinea pig when she was showing signs of scurvy. It took about two weeks of taking them, along with appetite restore and some rescue feeding, but now she is perked back up and doing great. We do feed Sherwood pellets, but she prefers to eat hay and not as many pellets, so I think thatâs how her vitamin levels got low. Either way, we will continue the supplements. My only complaint is I havenât been able to get her to take them on her own. Sheâll nibble around the edges and then reject it. So weâve been crushing and syringe feeding them. Sheâs not usually picky, so I will keep working on getting her to take them on her own.
