Buy this dog bed!
It’s been about eight months since I purchased two size Large Serta Orthopedic Quilted Pillowtop Dog beds for my Brittany Spaniel and Chocolate Lab. We wanted new beds that would fit in the car trunk for a road trip, weren’t a hassle to carry around, and would also fit in our RV when we got to our destination. Just want to say: great purchase! First, it’s a comfortable bed (yes, I tried it out) for both dogs; the 65 lb. young Lab and the 35 lb. older Brit. Next, their abundant dog hair does not stick to the top or bottom like all of their other beds, including a beautiful pillow top that cost twice as much. Dog hair sticks to ALL four of their other beds and is a real pain, time-consuming to vacuum and they’re never really hair-free. For some reason, the dog hair does not stick to these beds, top or bottom! Hallelujah! In addition, the beds are lightweight enough to move from room to room. Our lab knows when its bedtime and makes it to bed before we do! The Brit, of course, prefers his recliner but has no problem sleeping on this bed, too. Also, the beds look great 8 months after purchase, with lots of usage, travel & the Britt continually trying to dig a hole in his, but it hasn’t a mark on it. Last, but not least, the price is great! You can pay twice as much or more and I don’t know if you’ll find this quality. One last thing: you could get the XL for a lab or bigger dog, but I’d say large is a good size for a dog up to 70 pounds or so. In sum: I highly recommend this great bed!

We own a Serta Perfect Day mattress set and we really like it, so we were pretty interested to see how the Serta Orthopedic Pillow Top Dog bed would be.Over the years weâve owned several dog beds, but one of our dogs is older now and a regular dog bed just doesnât seem comfortable for him anymore, plus we have a young rescue German Shepherd that had been hit by a car as a puppy prior to rescue, so she has a prior hip and pelvic injury that can bother her even though she is only a 1 ½ yrs. old. So that is why we were in the market for a quality dog bed. The Serta Orthopedic Pillow Top Dog Bed is so far a sturdy, quality bed that our dogs enjoy, so much so I purchased a 2nd one of these. I have to say these are much firmer than most of the similar beds we seen or even had and honestly at a much better price. Even though the bed is firm it is soft/comfortable even though that seems contradictory but youâll have to see and feel in person to understand. My chocolate lab loves his new bed
I have a 70lb chocolate lab puppy, and he goes through beds pretty quickly. I had previously bought pillow types but he would rip them around and chew them until he got the stuffing out. I just bought a $40 bed from home goods and he ripped a huge hole within 5 mins. I decided to give him one last chance with this bed, hoping with the memory foam that he won’t rip it to shreds. And I am happy to say we have had this for almost a week and so far so good. I have not been letting him play around with it like the others, so that is helping too but this bed is also pretty sturdy. It is soft and he fits fine on the Large size, when he curls up there’s plenty of room, and when he stretches out his legs hang off a little which he doesn’t mind. This is the perfect size for a medium-large dog. Great purchase!

but this one looks and feels like it will last
I have to send this back for a bigger size. My fault. I have to say that the depth of the foam and the firmness are promising. We will see how it wears. Dog beds are expensive, but this one looks and feels like it will last. Of course the most important thing is that it is comfortable and supportive. My dog is 85 pounds. He is not old nor does he have stiff joints. He is allowed on my bed and couch, but just the same I want a comfomy dog bed for him. I think this one is a good product. I have bought others whose foam/padding/filling compressed quickly and really didn’t do the trick. I need one with padding that stays firm and pliable for the long run. Again, hopeful!!!! Buying the bigger size.

This is the best dog bed!
If I could rate this higher I would! Our dog LOVES this bed! He will be 15 next month and he is very arthritic. He was frequently waking us at 3:30am to go out, and it was wearing us out (we never minded though). Since he has been sleeping on this bed, he routinely sleep till 6am! I think his bones just feel better, and he is not feeling as sore. We have tried many beds over the years & he never slept on one of them. We were hesitant to spend more money on another, but he is absolutely worth many more tries. To see him so content just warms our hearts. We bought the XL and it is perfect. He can stretch out any way he wants. In his prime he weighed 75 pounds, now he is around 60. He also has long legs. Anyway, if you have an old, dear puppy like we do, with joint pain, this bed made a huge improvement in his life (and ours).

Great dog bed
My outdoor dog suffered a cruciate ligament tear in his hind leg & we had to keep him confined for a period in order for it to heal. I bought this and wondered if this outdoor Labrador would like it. He walked in and walked right over to this & flopped down on it. He’s 90 lbs and we both can lay down on it. The cover is zippered & is easily removed to wash. Says to wash it on gentle and hang to dry but his smell washed out much better on a regular wash cycle. I hung it out to dry but threw it in the dryer for a few minutes to “fluff” it up & it handled both the regular wash & dryer & was easy to zip up around the egg-crate foam mattress. I highly recommend this product. My dog loves it & after 4 weeks it is still maintaining it’s shape.

Great bed, dogs love it – was larger than expected which was great. My one dog does, as some other reviews commented, scratches at the surface, but I moved it to a more open area and gave her a blanket – I think since the top layer is so soft she thought she could curl under it like a blanket! Well worth the money.UpdateCan’t believe it but seven years later, it’s been through vomit, water spill, and add in a puppy to the mix who is now 4, this bed is Still going strong and looks almost new when washed! So impressed. Our golden retrievers fight over who gets there first and pretend to hear something at the door if one loses so the other will go look and they can steal the spot lol.

I have an 8 year old Golden Retriever that weighs a little under 60 pounds. He’s a little fussy on what he lays on, so I was hoping that he would like this. He loves it. Was hoping it would be strong enough to support him, but supple enough to contour around him. I’m not worried about the durability at this point because he’s not destructive – if I had a tasmanian devil for a dog, I would be shopping for an appropriate bed, and since I don’t possess the compressing power of a hydraulic press, I didn’t sit around squishing this thing into oblivion. I imagine that in a few years, when he comes close to flattening it out when he lays on it, I’ll buy another bed for him, but for now, he’s happy with it and it appears to support his old bones fine.

I bought this bed for my dog when she was about ten years old. She always loved laying on soft things, but the pet stores wanted extortion-style prices for anything she seemed to like. As soon as I took this out of it’s box and let her check it out, she was hooked, and spent a lot of time lounging on it. The cover is easily removed for washing, and does clean up nicely. It was a bit obnoctious to get back on, but you can’t win ’em all.The bed held up well. She was laying on it the day I had to put her down just ahead of her 13th birthday.If you’re looking for a comfortable bed for your dog, this is a good one. I tried it out once, it was pretty nice…

This dog bed is fantastic. Since I was ordering it online, I was concerned quality could be poor since I had to Base my purchase off pictures. I am glad I got it though – both my animals love it (my dog and my cat). The cover is soft and easily removed for washing, and the mattress as thick and supportive. I highly recommend this bed!
