It works for the pain in my knee
Itâs a bit large because I bought it for other places too besides my knee but I wrap it around and it works just fine. Hopefully it will help heal my knee that I hurt when I was exercising. Itâs nice that it can be recharged or you can use it with a cord.

A lower cost red light therapy option that ticks all the boxes
The big dilemma with a product like this is whether to try a cheaper Chinese “knock-off” like this one or spend hundreds of dollars more to get a name brand option that might be almost the same thing. Name brand red light therapy belts tend to cost several hundred dollars, while this one currently comes in around $70. That’s a massive difference in price and let’s face it, the name brands are made in China too, so is there a difference?I don’t have test equipment to confirm the spectrum emitted, but if you assume honesty in advertising, this device ticks all the boxes. It operates either using a rechargeable power bank that attaches to the belt via a set of magnets, or via a wired controller. It also can operate at a 660nm (skin level) or 850nm (NIL, penetrating below the skin). It also has a mode setting that can produce a combination of 660nm+850nm, or pulsing options. These are specs that are more or less recommended for red light therapy.The belt itself is made to go around the torso, so it’s large. It can also be folded up sufficiently to go around an arm or leg, although it’s challenging to get a tight fit. However, if you’re not moving, the fit works well enough. But the bottom line is the size and velcro strap make it versatile to wrap around various parts of the body.The box comes with everything you need – a power adapter with cord, the rechargeable power bank, and wired controller. I’ve used this a number of times now and it’s been working flawlessly. The controller operation is the same whether you use the wired controller or the remote controller. The operation is simple and intuitive. It comes with a timer with options for 10, 20, or 30 minutes. I wish you could set it in increments of 5, and I also wish it gave an audio indication when it completed, but those are minor complaints for an otherwise well functioning device. When I first unboxed it, I peeled the protective film off the remote controller and it pulled off the entire screen. Fortunately it snapped right back into place. Despite that questionable start, I haven’t had any issues with quality since.So what’s lacking compared to a much more expensive name brand device? Very little as far as I can tell. You lack the assurance and potential FDA approval that assures you that you’re getting exactly what is advertised, and I imagine you can get better service and warranty with a named brand device, but given the extreme cost difference, this seems like a quite reasonable option.

Good quality at a good price
I was not sure the quality but it seems to be of good quality and its nice to have the options to use a battery pack or a cord. The battery pack seems to last for at least 2 full power 30min runs. I use for helping keep my back in good shape and overall getting some red/infrared light in my day.

This review is for the GMOWNW 2-in-1 Red Light Therapy Belt. I got this device to help with lower back pain, and it is flexible enough to be used in other places on your body as well. It works in two ways: it can be powered with the supplied battery pack/controller, or it can be powered by the wired controller plugged into a USB charger.The battery pack is powerfully enough to assure multiple treatments between charges and seems to recharge quickly. It is easy to use because you can use the velcro attachments to strap the belt around your waist, turn on the battery pack, adjust the settings, and the battery pack simply clicks into place magnetically. The only complaint that I have about the battery pack is that sometimes the screen is hard to interpret. When you want red light, the screen shows “10HZ” (thought it looks more like “10H2” and if you want infrared only it shows “40H2”. When you want both, it says “R:IR” but it sure looks more like “A 1A.” The wired controller shows “H10”, “H40” and “ALL” Now, what does these settings mean? Well the 10 HZ is a slow pulse, 40 is a faster pulse, and R:IR or ALL is constant. If you are familiar with Red Light Therapy, you know that pulsing (blinking) light is often considered effective in certain situations where as constant light is effective in others. Some devices provide this option but also allow you to turn off the Red or Infrared, and have settings for “R” “IR” or “ALL”. So the display is a little confusing at first, but if you read the manual and it’s easy to use.Overall, besides the nonsense about the displays, the belt itself is well made. It will accommodate someone with up to a 45 inch waist. Both controllers have a timer (10, 20 and 30 minutes), and power settings (low, medium and high).It doesn’t have a heat function but I find the lights themselves provide a low level of warmth that is comfortable. I like that each LEDs have 2 Infrared emitters and 1 red emitter, as Infrared provides deeper pain relief.The battery controller is a nice feature if you want to use it on the go. You can wear the belt under a loose shirt and nobody will know you are treating your back while you shop!
