Warm enough, solid weighting, works great for my use.
I use this as a combination leg warmer and bed warmer. For this purpose, I don’t want a -lot- of heat, just enough to keep things warm under the covers and keep my legs warm. I normally set the heat level to ‘2’ (6 is max) which is the setting I found to be most comfortable as a bed warmer.If you are looking for something that gets not just warm but HOT, you might find it lacking. The maximum heat setting makes the pad pretty warm, but far from ‘hot’. It’s not like the Sunbeam hotpad my mom used to have dating back from the 1960’s that would get really uncomfortably hot when switched on at its max setting.This pad is well weighted, it stays in place near the foot of my bed even if I toss and turn a bit while sleeping. The cloth covering is soft; I can put my legs over it overnight without discomfort.The only (minor) shortcomings it has is the un-programmable 2-hour auto shutoff (would like to have options for 1, 2 or 4 hours), and the somewhat shorter-than-optimal cord leading from the pad plug to the control unit. When I place the pad on my bed around where my calves and feet are when lying down,the remote reached up to just beyond my waist – still easy enough to reach, but I wind up sitting on it sometimes when I get out of bed. Another 1 foot / 30cm of cord length would have alleviated this problem.

Great relief
I bought this product for my daughterâs and boss for Christmas. They all absolutely love it. Especially for their monthly visitor. Perfect weight, they love the heat settings. Their pets enjoy the cuddle time during these cold months as well. Win win.

Bought this for my husband’s knee pain. Weighted kept the pad in position. Large size helps with applying heat to the entire back, for comfort, or for pre-massage.

Best heating pad EVER
I looked through quite a few weighted heating pads before settling on this one. It is WELL worth the purchase. It literally kept my kidney stone pain at bay for the better part of a month and also allowed me to wait longer in between drug dosages at the hospital when the pain got worse.Pros:The weight allows for better heat distribution if it is being placed on top of your body instead of underneath.The heating pad cover is extremely soft and comfortable.The pad itself is extra large and covers the entirety of my back.The cord is the best I’ve ever seen: thick connection area means no bent cords over time, but also can completely detach for transport or storage as well.Cons: this is still really a pro… has an auto shut off of 2 hours. If you’re in continual pain this can be annoying at times, however for safety reasons and regular pain this is good.If you’re wanting a heating pad that exceeds expectations, buy this one.

Loved it until it stopped working
The size and weight is the best of all Iâve tried and I loved it at first however, after a few months, the filling migrated to the ends which made the weight uneven. Then the controller stopped working. It was still within the year warranty so I contacted the manufacturer (website email contact). The representative was very nice and verified that it was under warranty but then I was informed that they didnât have a replacement for it available and they offered to provide me with something of an equal price. After much back and forth (I was willing to wait for stock e.g.) I finally agreed to something else and then that wasnât in stock. I eventually I ended up with a shoulder/neck heating pad because it just wasnât worth the hassle anymore.

Heating Pad AND Weighted? It’s Perfect!
Just WOW! A heating pad in and of itself is nice to have but the added comfort of being weighted (those of you who use a weighted blanket will totally understand), this is a wonderful item. Weighted blankets (NOTE: This is NOT a blanket but a PAD) have been shown to bring calm to those with sensory concerns or who simply need comfort from a little weight (it feels like a hug).The overall size is nice, the weight is not too heavy and the heating capacity is good. It does not heat as hot as a heating pad by itself (no weight) but it is still a nice heat for aching muscles or just a warm, wintery hug feeling. I use it almost daily during the long cold winter months. It does not replace my missing the sunshine, but it at least gives a sense of comfort and calm as I wait for spring and sunshine to return.
