Stylish and functional!
I bought this bag for easy transportation of our 5-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: Penelope Jane Wigglebottom. We love to take her with us places, but there are times where we need to move quickly or when it’s really crowded that it’s safer for her to be in our arms. With the Django dog carry bag, I can use the bag like a purse, putting my wallet and keys in the outside pockets, and then when Penny needs to be carried, just scoop her up and put her in. That way my hands are free, I’m not trying to manage a purse and a dog, and she’s comfortable. There’s a good harness clip inside to make her more secure, but she loves being in the bag, so I’m not too concerned about her jumping out. It zips closed over the top, making it cozy, and there’s plenty of room for her to stand up, sit, and snuggle in. I know some people are concerned because the sides aren’t rigid, but I don’t mind that because it means she can move about more easily in the bag, and once it’s zipped closed, it holds its shape well. She’s currently only 7.5lbs, but at only 5 months she’ll still grow. However, I think she will still have plenty of room once she hits her full size. Strong, sturdy travel carrying bag for your pup
My dog is a 14lb mini Aussie, 16″ in length and 17″ in girth for reference. I bought both medium and large to compare sizes and decided to keep the large because my dog could actually lie down all the way without looking too squished. He also has enough room to tuck his head in and turn around after stepping in on his own.Pros:Love the look and color of this bag! It’s super sturdy and made using quality materials. Very easy to do spot cleaning, the padding cover at the bottom is also removable to wash in the washing machine. The leather is soft and does not dig into my shoulders. I like the deep pockets and the fact that they all have zippers for security. My dog really loves this bag and always tries to jump in when he sees me getting ready to leave with the bag. I like that there’s a short leash clip so that you can clip your dog into the bag. Sometimes I noticed that if my dog is sitting too close to the opening of the bag it will tilt forward which might make your dog want to jump out in fear of falling out, but the leash clip prevents that!Cons:I wished there was a little slot on the bag so that I could slide it onto the handle of my suitcase. Also, the bag is a little on the heavier side. For reference just add about 3-4lbs to the weight of your dog and that’s the weight you’ll be carrying on your shoulders.

Classy and Comfortable Carrier!
Beautiful carrier and my sweet girl is very comfortable in it. Took it on a trip last weekend and it does fit under the airline seat. Not saying that it is airline approved but it does fit and she did a lot better then in a typical carrier. Only thing I would say I wish it that it wasn’t so heavy. After a short time, it gets heavy on my shoulder. My furry child is a 6 lb pom. But I love all the pockets, I was able to put items like license, ticket and lipstick in the pocket and not take my purse. Only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is due to the weight and cost, however, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy carrier for their furry child. The sides do not collapse and it is very comfy and roomy. Compared to others it is a bit costly but it is made extremely well and solid and I doubt that I will need to purchase another case for years to come!

Travelling in style
Thereâs a dog in my bag !I have used this bag for a while now and decided to change the stars from 4 to 5 as the tether was too long. However, I was able to shorten the tether (a knot) which has made it difficult for the pup to âescapeâ. The bag still looks new and I have received many complements. I am pleased that the bag doesnât collapse in the centre when the pup moves around.This is a well constructed bag. After reading several reviews I decided to opt for the medium size for my 5lb Pomeranian. He prefers to stand when we are out, so the bagâs height (12.5â) works great.There is sufficient room in the bag for sitting and ârelaxâ. The handles are long enough to make it easy to carry on your shoulder.The opening is big enough to accommodate the pupâs fur, however the opening is a bit on the larger size.There is an adjustable safety tether to attach the harness, however the puppy was able to get out of the bag. I will have to find a work around for this.Overall, this is a lovely, elegant and well constructed bag. I have downgraded the rating because my Pom is able to get of the opening.It would have been nice to have feet on the bottom to keep the leather from getting « scruffy » should you need to put it on the floor.

Not for puppies
Expensive, beautiful, heavy, cumbersome. If you donât have a long dog it will tip forward. This is for dogs longer than a foot. I walked half a mile with my 5 lbd dog inside and the muscle connecting my neck to my shoulder was hurting the next day. The canvas is quality the leather as well but this makes for a heavy bag and there is no crossbody wear option. For the price I would have liked D rings on each to add my own padded strap and snap closures to close the head hole as my dog spills out of the hole with the weight being forward. It requires constrain adjustment. The shoulderpad that snaps around the handles is also cumbersome requiring you to put the bag down and closing them and itâs a tight fit. I would recommend for a Weiner dog that is already trained to be in a bag. Not a puppy or a dog under a foot.
