Pup loves it, Long shelf life
8-29-23 My pup loves this food! Long shelf life I have a somewhat picky eater and have spent countless monies trying to find what pleases her. Well this is a winner, both in her and my books. The first day I gave it as a treat. That only led to her yipping at me while staring at the bag on the counter, “more mom more”, throughout the day. Next I incorporated it in her food. The nuggets are easy to squeeze between your fingers to break apart if needed. I added warm water to make a nice wet food to mix with her dry kibble. Lo and behold she ate her entire meal in one sitting. That hasn’t happened since she was a pup. The 16oz bag yields 10 cups dry food. For me I’ll be using it as a wet food topper mixed 50/50 with her kibble, utilizing 1/4 cup of this food a day. So this bag will last me roughly 40 days. She’s happy with the flavor, I’m happy with the ingredients and manufacturing, so I ordered another bag as I wrote this review. Something nice is the “Best By date” is 2 years from the time I ordered it. It is also sealed in a thick bag with a resealable zipper, making it a great emergency food for long term storage, just in case. Makes a Great Higher Value Treat for Training
I got this bag of freeze dried dog food to use as high value treats while training dogs at work. They work so well as higher value treats! The pieces are a nice size that you can feed whole to larger dogs, but soft enough that you can break them into smaller pieces for small breeds! The fish in them make them super smelly, but that’s a good thing with what I’m using them for! Most of the dogs I’ve used these with have LOVED them, so they must like the taste! The only downside to these is that there is chicken in the ingredients. I got them thinking it was just fish based, so I could use them with dogs that have sensitivities to chicken. Unfortunately I can’t due to the chicken being so high on the ingredients list/there at all. I still use it with dogs that don’t have any sensitivities though and they love it! This bag is lasting me a while and I’ll definitely have to think about getting another one once I’m done with it! It is a tad bit pricey though, but then again it’s freeze dried raw dog food. They tend to get pricey no matter where you go.

I wanted to love it but my dog didn’t
Unfortunately the aroma is a non starter for my dog. She tried it once & wont eat it. She regularly eats freeze dried food. Darn

Expensive but dog enjoys
This product arrived quickly and in minimal waste packaging. I am going to say it, this is very expensive. the pictures make the bag look wider and more “full” than it actually is. The description is accurate when it comes to the measurement of contents int he bag. The content of the bag has a slight fish smell to it but not overpowering and more like… a salmon smell. For my golden retriever it recommends 2.5 to 3.5 cups for feeding which is alot considering the bag only has only about 6 – 8 cups in it. Which means this expensive bag of food should only last a day or two. I am going to use it as a tower for the dog food he is currently eating, that way it will last longer. My dog does infact love the taste of the product but there are many other dog foods out there made with the same ingredient, taste and smell just as good but cost less. if you have the money then I would recommend this product as its a pretty good product, if you are looking for something that will last longer than a few days and cost less than go with something ells.
