My dog is allergic to most shampoo, not this one!
My German Shepherd has always had issues with allergic reactions to most soap. Watched some documentary on Burt and decided to give it a try.Does not lather real good on long hair dogs but if you spend the time and scrub to get the Burt down to the skin, cleans like $20 dog shampoo.When he dries off, real fluffy fur/hair, sheen is ok, smells kind a sweet and he STOPS itching and scratching. Have used for over a year now and no side effects or skin issues.Now when is say “Bath” he does not FREAK out and poop on the floor and wants a divorce. He simply walked over to the tub, moves the shower curtain with his big beak, and gets in by himself.Hey Burt, even though you are a millionaire and live in a shack, your dog products are the bomb! Keep of the good work guy.Thank you, and good night!

Mild, pleasant smelling dog shampoo
I use this on my golden retriever usually ever 6 or 7 days . It is smooth, pleasant smelling shampoo that produces good lather with some warm water. She, my dog seems to like the experience and she cleans and smells pleasant.

My 15 yr old Pomeranian developed an itch on his back and side. Allergies are bad in my area along with air quality issues which affect skin. We tried different shampoos and nothing helped him. I know of Burt Bees reputation and though5 I would try it. Well, we gave him a bath in it the same day it arrived. Didnât give him any Benadryl or any cremes or sprays. I wanted to test Burt Bees to see if it actually works. For the first time in weeks, he slept sound all night without an itch. The only thing is this shampoo doesnât lather up like others, but IT WORKS. Now I donât know if it will help your dog, I guess it depends what is causing the itch, but in my best friend Leviâs case, it helped. I would recommend investing 7.50 to try it. Now weâre going to use it on our Jackabee, whoâs name is Honeybee. If this helps her, I will be ordering a larger bottle soon, but either way, Levi will be using it for the rest of his life.
