Great value for a high quality pet carrier.
I’ve been using this carrier for car trips with Poncho, my little Weshi. When he’s sitting or standing, his head pokes out of the top so that the carrier can’t be zipped shut, but there’s a lot of space when he lies down. Since the material of the top is stretchy, he has no trouble standing up to reposition himself.When I unzip it to get him ready, he runs to the carrier and seems to look forward to the journey, which feels great. I mainly got the carrier for added safety in the car so he wouldn’t be harmed by an airbag in case of an accident since he would usually sit on my lap. I was worried that he would not only be sad since he now had to sit in the back, but that he would also not feel comfortable. This does not seem to be an issue with how quickly he brings himself to the carrier whenever we bring it out, and with how long he stays in there after we get somewhere and unzip it.The quality of the product is outstanding. The various pockets are great for carrying his leash, some treats, and pick-up bags; they aren’t too large, but big enough to carry the essentials without making the carrier too bulky. The straps and zippers all feel really tough and durable. Poncho is only 12 pounds, but the straps handle his weight really well. The two straps in the back make it really easy to secure the carrier to car seating using a seatbelt.I am really happy with the product, and would definitely recommend it for anyone with a small dog looking to keep them slightly safer and contained during car trips, or just to carry them. The handle on the carry straps makes it comfortable to hold with your hand, or to slip it around you elbow.

Great car seat
Great car seat. I will say itâs not for some medium dogs like my small pug burly fits if she is stand on four paws. There is enough room for her when she lays down. Looks like the picture and easy to install. Has pockets and good amount of sturdiness.

It’s a nice carrier, but needs a seatbelt flap
The carrier is nice, it’s easy to assemble and easy to store. It has enough room for our cat, and the color is as pictured. The seams all seem strong and well sewn. It does need a flap for weaving a seat belt through, using the shoulder strap to hook around the top of a seat isn’t sufficient at all.

Perfect choice
I have 12 week old Sheltie and wanted to get her accustomed to the car early. I searched for car seats and happened upon this one. What a 5***** winner. Fits snugly in the seat, seat belt goes through and she gets tethered inside. With the amount of distracted divers I didn’t want my baby puppy to be harmed by being a projectile in an accident. While she is little ,I can pop it out of the car and take her into a store that accepts animals. Love the pocket for her accessories. You won’t go wrong with this one.Update: Well it’s been a couple of weeks and I placed my puppy in the car seat and tethered her harness. She was frigidity and the tether ripped away from the car seat. The only thing tethered was the seat itself. Such a beautiful product but this needs to be addressed asap. Once the tethering issue is resolved, this will be the best car seat around.

Perfect car seat for my 5 LB puppy!
This is perfect for our 5 lb puppy!!! She nestles happily in it and it provides us with peace of mind that she is safe while we’re driving.The leash is a little short, as another reviewer has already mentioned, but I like it that way. I don’t want Lucy (our puppy) to be able to get out of this thing while we’re driving. It would really distract me from my driving and I am distracted enough as is.I actually also use this as a carrier for my dog when I go to the store and I can’t/ won’t leave her in the car. It’s actually perfect. It’s a little too big for her, but I like that about this carrier.I cannot say enough good things about it – I really love it. The extra pockets come in handy as we put in puppy pads and other things for her in there. What a great find on Amazon!

This is a great car seat. My pup seems to really like it. I put a bed in there to help boost him up a bit, and keep him comfy. It really helps with keeping him from sliding around when we’re driving, making car rides less stressful. It seems to double as a carrier, and though I haven’t used it as such thus far, I plan to use it for my cat.It arrived folded up, in a carrying case. It zips together from its flat-folded state, and keeps its form really well, unlike some other soft carriers that arrive squished up in their packaging and never really unsquish. The bottom has jagged plastic squares near each corner, and a patch of velcro to help prevent slipping around on the car seat (see picture). The shoulder strap can be wrapped around the head rest for added stability.With the top open, you can also easily hook up your pup to a seat belt tether as well, for added safety. My pup is pictured wearing his kurgo harness, tethered to the same seat belt used to fasten in the pup’s seat. Works well!

This is a bad product
Oh my word!!! I had a wrestling match with this one trying to put in the inflated plastic pillows or inserts. My word this is a bad product! Please don’t make this anymore or make some adjustments!!! The picture sold it to me but what I got was nothing like that! I think the one I got was sewn incorrectly because the bean inserts didn’t want to go in at all. At one point I put them in the outside pocket:)))) It was sooooo hard to put these inserts in! And when I finally forced everything in, it gave me only an 8 inch space for the bottom. My dog didn’t even want to go in there! It was a very frustrating experience. There was zero instruction on how to assemble this bed. I am so disappointed. I really needed a good travel seat for my 6lbs Yorkie and this completely didn’t work out:(((( The online picture is soooo much better!!! Also, I am not sure that these plastic inflated inserts would do well in a 100 degree car during the summer time. And keep taking them out to inflate them when it was sooo hard to put them in…. This is an unusable product. I am very sad.

Described exactly how it is. I chose the large so my Jack russell will grow into it. Tons of room. She can lay down comfortably if she wants. Sides and bottom are sturdy and not floppy. I like how it can fold up and store nicely in the zippered case it comes with. Netting is very nice quality on the sides and top! Extremely pleased!
