I have a female spayed indoor-only cat, age 2 years, who decided to start peeing outside the box about 4 weeks ago, particularly on our leather sofa. This started about the time we opened a window behind the sofa to let the breeze in. We think it is due to smelling a neighbor cat on that side, or raccoons, or both. We have another cat who goes in and out and also two indoor kittens. Everyone gets along fine and she plays/naps/eats treats with the kittens. We used an enzymatic cleaner on the sofa to destroy the scent and tried this stuff.At first, I sprayed the one side of the sofa regularly peed upon. This spray seemed like it may have worked initially in the 4-5 hours the spray lasted, but then she peed on the other side of the sofa. When I sprayed the whole sofa (morning, afternoon, night) – after two days, she got very anxious and started hiding a lot and running from us at every turn, she got super anxious and jumpy. Also when I sprayed the entire sofa, I got a bad histamine reaction (allergies in the form of nasal and lung congestion). I had to stop using it for both of those reasons.I wish someone would make a pheromone-only spray without all the toxic hydrocarbons and essential oils so we could test the reaction to pheromones only. I had also ordered diffusers from another brand and had to return them because they had warnings about inhalation.

Three male cats need I say more? I think it helps with the bouts of lets battle each other for no reason. I feel it has helped cut down the craziness.

It works great and smells good
It works great for my cat. After a little while 18min she is relaxed and calm . Stopps her from scratching too. One pump on her sleeping spots and she sleeps like a baby all night.

Didn’t see a difference
I purchased this to help my 4 cats with a big move to a new home. It has an extremely strong scent so if you are sensitive to smells than I wouldn’t recommend. I definitely am so suffered from using this product. They didn’t seem interested in at as a cat nip or a soothing agent. I have tried it again once we were settled in for a few months and same response. They looked offended that I sprayed it then showed no interest in the treated area.

Cautious with product
Why say that has natural products but yet has 90% of rubbing alcohol as the main ingredient. What sucks is that I purchased it and finally able to get in contact with my primary vet and was told not to use. Now i cant return it cuz it has a flammable ingredient. Like wtf why would this be recommended to spray near our cats for them to inhale!!
