My dog can eat a bowl of food in no time. This looked a little small for him but i fill it with food and it slows him down and is a little enrichment too. Can remove the center for easy cleaning.

Great food bowl for our pup
We have an 8 month old golden doodle that eats as fast as she can. This bowl will hold a cup and a half of her food with the insert. It does a great job of making her eat slower. We add water to her food and have found we need to take out the insert and clean the bowl after each feeding. Stainless bowl with nonslip bottom help keep it in place. Insert comes out easily to make cleanup a breeze. Hope we never have to buy another one, but will definitely get one of these again if needed. Quality product and great value.

This is tiny!
This dog bowl is for a small breed, not for a mid-sized breed. It is only 4-5 inches in diameter. We have a small lab and this would never work for him.

Our 9 yr old dog dog inhales his food, never chewing (since he was a pup) and getting choked now that he is older. Just swallowing his kibble whole. We live the fact that the insert fits right into his bowl (little suction cups). We chose not to use the bowl it came with since the inset worked so well on his own bowl. The bowl it came with is equally good quality with a silicone bottom so the bowl doesnât slide. We first got the 1.5 c but was way too small. Returned it for the 3 c. We have used this for a week and it is exactly what we had hoped for.

Great solution for controlled eating!
I recently bought this food bowl and its been fantastic! We used to have a plastic slow feeder, but we had to wash it every single use or our dog would get a bacteria infection on her mouth. The silicon insert is so easy to remove and clean, just pop it in the dishwasher and you’re good to go! We have a big barrel chested dog so this slow feeder has been awesome in preventing bloat and just overall controlling her eating.Only down side is the bowl in the image looks a bit bigger than it is in person, but if youre okay with that then this is the bowl for you!
