Cats enjoy it
I house some foster cats in a semi outdoor location. The weather has started to heat up here in CA so I needed to find a way to keep the kitties cool. I have bought other cooling mats, but for some reason, the cats chew on them and ruin them. This one has not had that effect on them. They really like it and I think it’s because it actually has a padding around the whole thing. It’s more like an actual cat bed than a cooling mat. It truly is cool to the touch. Not sure how it works, but even on hot days it still seems to let out a coolness. Just make sure it stays out of direct sunlight. For reference, I attached a picture of our largest cat to show sizing. Good for one full size cat, or two small cats. The cats liked it so much, a just bought a second one!

Keeps Romeo cool
We bought this cooling mat for our cat Romeo and put it under my desk, where he likes to hang out when itâs hot. We live in Southern California and only have air conditioning in our back bedroom so it can get over a hundred degrees inside the house. When it gets hot and Romeo doesnât feel like hanging out in the bedroom he has this miraculous mat/bed.He seems to think itâs comfortable and I like that it doesnât gather cat hair like his other mats do. It also looks nice.Romeoâs a big boy, but he fits on the mat perfectly. It was worth the money we spent on it, which really wasnât that much compared to the great product we got.

Cools cats
I bought this to help stray and feral cats living outside in the hot summer heat. They do enjoy using it and like the bolster that wraps around the bed. It does seem to stay cooler. I spray the bed with cool water every day and, they frequently lie on this bed.

My picky cats actually like it.
My cats have never been the type to willingly accept something that someone buys for them. They would rather sit next to a cat bed than actually get in it and look you directly in the eyes while they are actively avoiding it. Surprisingly, one of them actually got right on this product and sat down. My two cats now lay on it every once in awhile. They haven’t seemed to tire of it, which is often the case with cat beds and mats. It also depends on The temperature of the day. I definitely would recommend this product, even if you have picky cats.

Our cat loves the coolness
Our cat loves sleeping on this. It is very cool feeling material. The edges are padded and he loves to sleep with his head on the padded part. It’s his very favorite spot this hot Summer. It is well made and washes and dries well.

I hardly ever write reviews, but felt I would so people know to save their money. This pic was taken literally one day after receiving the bed. The second I put it down on the floor my puppy peed on it mistaking it for a potty pad. He then chewed the corner off. Also, itâs supposed to be âcoolingâ yet it feels like regular fabric and not at all cool to the touch. Itâs also smaller than I expected. My advice would be to save your money.

UPDATE: looks like we keeping this thing. Wish it was bigger though.I bought this for my dog cause its so hot in az right now and she’s constantly comes out of her kennel to lay on the hard floor to cool off then back into the kennel later. figured this would work for her. She isn’t using it right now and havent been but we will see if she will throughout the day. Just got it in too. I bought size medium since its the biggest size they offer and i thought it’d at least be pretty big like for a medium size dog at least. my dog is considered small size. shes a pomeranian. it does fit just enough for her so you can see why medium would make me think it’s bigger. Plus for the price too i at least thought it’d be a nice decent size but nope. It’s too small for the price I paid for. We see if it’s useable for my dog cause if she doesnt use it then no need for me to keep it. as for the quality and comfort, i think its ok. It’s more like a kennel mat than anything. no cushioning whatsoever. so i was putting it on top of her bed but then decided since she goes back n forth on the hard floor and her bed i should just put it outside her kennel so she can use it whenever she needs to cool down. i dont know how or see how it’s going to work with cooling her down but we shall see if she uses it.

Cooling & Comfortable
With the very hot temperatures this summer, I was excited to find this self-cooling pet bed. It took a few tries of getting the bed in the right place for my cat to try it, but once she did, she seems to love it! It is light weight with a very nice padded border on all sides. The center is made of the cooling fabric and it DOES feel cool to the touch. Rags, the 15-year old cat in the photo gives her approval!
