Cats Approved, Dog Repelled, Send to Enemies
I wanted to get something for my doggo, and I was like, aww this is cute, and this will be nice because we just got rid of her last bed (so loved too much and would treat it roughly). I was hoping that this would be easy to put together, clean, would have a longer life span, and my dog would like it. So far, only half of my initial hopes are true. I will never put this together again, I will try and get my brother to do it because it was so tedious. Why tedious, because the instructions paint it as a easy breezy process that should take five minutes; I was struggling for a half an hour. You have to make sure you put the correct sized poles in the right area, and their is no label on them to differentiate. If you make the mistake like I did, because of how the cloth is cut, you will have to start over. Then, let’s say you know gig and what to do so it should be easy now, no. The last pole is the hardest one. Because of the way things have to line up, if you do not get things lined up perfectly and time it just right, you are going to be fighting with metal, hard plastic, and thick, cinched plastic. I almost gave up on this part because I thought I would lose an eye by the end of it, but by some miracle I got it together.Second step was to introduce my dog to it. I showed her the cot I had spent too long making and earned bruises from, and she was like what. When she was placed on it, it was the perfect speed bump. I think I teared up a bit. That is okay, because my cats swooped in and was like, what is this thing. So the cats generally like this bed more than the dog.My dog is a Beagle/Huahua mix, and she is just on the verge of being too big for it, so when they mean small dog, you are looking at more of your toy and small-small dogs.I will never order this again, I will only send it to my enemies for their dogs.[ TLDR ]—————————————–[ â ] Cats liked it[ â ] Easy to Clean[ â ] Sturdy Materials[ x ] Hard to put together (I got bruises and pinched fingers, thought I was gonna lose an eye)[ x ] Dog had no care for it[ x ] No labels to help put together.[ x ] Bane of my existence.
