Simple & Useful
This may be only a scrap of material filled with rice that I could have made myself for pennies, but I am quite happy to pay someone else to make it for me, thank you. This simple item does what it is supposed to do, and that is enough. And it does it with a gorgeous, cheery color! It heats quickly and maintains heat for 20 – 30 minutes. I think this is the perfect size for most of my uses: to throw in the bed in the vicinity of my feet to warm them on a cold winter’s night; to apply to almost any bodily owie; to snuggle with in my reading chair; to put under a blanket in my cat’s bed; to wrap in a tea towel to put under a casserole to keep it from cooling too quickly. It is a great supplement to the long, thin heating pad I have that I drape around my neck.LATER: I like this pad so much that I have had to replace it twice due to giving mine away to friends in need of a warm hug and comfort in a trying time. It is the perfect gift for such occasions.

this heating pad is amazing! Have not tried freezing it yet
Ladies and gentlemen, this heating pad is amazing! Have not tried freezing it yet, but I plan to at some point. It’s perfect for any aches or pains, on any part of your body. It works well for menstrual cramps, or on the feet after a long day, and even on the lower back. Or, you can toss it in the bed under your blankets and have a warm bed if you need all-over relief or just some warmth on a cool night. It’s smaller than a traditional electric heating pad, which makes it easier to target one specific area. And it doesn’t take that long to heat up: just give it 1-1.5 minutes in the microwave, and that will last about 20-30 minutes. Just zap it again if you need it for longer. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Love it
Itâs a great size, I use it as a cooling compress and it holds the temperature for a good amount of time but I wish it was longer. Itâs heavier than I expected but I actually enjoy that part of it most

The Perfect Home Remedy for Aches and Pains
AMAZING!!! It keeps the heat with only 90 seconds in the microwave! Feels great on sore shoulders or knees and without any chemicals to smell or stain your clothes. A simple home remedy better than any heating pad. I keep on at home and one at my office. When I’m having a long day and my back can’t take it, I can use this since there are no heating pads allowed at our desks. A GREAT product…something like your Grandma would make for you. THANKS!!!

Great Rice Pillow
It took me a while to find a great rice pillow, and this is the one you’re looking for. Made in America too! It would be nice if it had slightly more filling, but it works great and retains the heat well. Definitely recommend purchasing one, especially over the cheaper & foreign made ones.

Weird smell
It’s ok. Holds the heat ok. I gave it 3 stars for 2 reasons: 1. There is a weird, unidentifiable smell after heating it 2. Odd size. I had hoped to drape it around my neck to heat both sides at once but too short, so could only heat one side at a time.
