Application is simple:

I got these for my miniature poodle, because she was constantly scratching and they work great. We used to get scratched all the time, now it doesn’t hurt. And they don’t seem to bother her at all.

Caution when using the provided glue
These caps fit well, however the glue they provide was AWFUL. I’ve used multiple brands, and never have I had glue that actually caused sores on my dogs toes. The caps are good quality and look cute too, but they need to provide a better glue.

Good product for the price
I was unsure, because there are quite a few negative reviews on this product, but for a set of 40 it was only $11.99 so they were worth a try. So far I have only used the silver glitter Purdy Paws. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5, simply because they don’t seem to last as long as the 4-6 weeks suggested on the product page. I bought these for my four month old puppy that was born blind, because she is blind she uses her paws to feel her way along and frequently brushes her paws on our face when we hold her. Hence the need for soft claw covers. She is pretty playful, since we adopted her brother with her he plays with her and keeps her company. Some of the reviews said that the claws split and would not even go on, I did not have this problem at all, though I bought a small (5-10lbs) for a 4lb puppy. The tips seem to be very soft and flexible and she got used to them quickly. At this point it has been almost two weeks since I first applied them and she has lost two of them. My only other complaint, would be that the adhesive is not highly ‘re-useable’, meaning that once I clip the tip and use some to apply 8 tips to the front paws, it doesn’t really close back up well to be used again in the future for addition reapplications.

Takes Forever but Amazing!
Works but these are a pain to get on and get off. Some are too big and some are too small and sometimes you won’t realize it until it is almost all the way on. Even pre-measuring doesn’t always work. And if your dog has long hair make sure to trim around the nails before you put these on or you will be trying to get super glue off your floor.

way too long. had a professional groomer apply them, she had to cut them down with scissors. and they were off within a couple days.

Applying these will take some practice! I will continue to try to find the right way to put these on so that my dog “ignores” them rather than tries to take them off!
