    This is great food!
My dogs have eaten Beneful since 2005, when I adopted a rescue dog that would eat only it. Even after she died, my other dogs stayed on Beneful, and I switched to the Beneful Healthy Weight in 2009 because my oldest dog, a miniature dachshund, had put on some weight. I now have 7 dogs, all but one rescues, and they have loved their food. They particularly picked out the chewy chunks before the hard ones. But I was concerned about all the crap they were getting; still, it was much cheaper than the healthier brands. Along comes Just 6. I read lots of research on it and liked it, so I ordered some from Amazon. While waiting on it, I went ahead and bought a bag at my grocery store yesterday and mixed it with a bag of Beneful, so I could get my dogs used to it. Good grief! All seven of them acted like they hadn’t been fed in years. They went through their bowls picking out the Just 6 to eat it and leaving the Beneful behind — even the moist chewy chunks that had always been their favorites. And my two newest rescues, Castle and Beckett, were very shy eaters, always hanging back to the point I had to give them their own bowl next to me so they would even get to eat. You should have seen them dive into this. They weren’t shy at all. I’m really happy to know that I’m giving them food that’s good for them AND that they will love. And the price is good. My 15 pound bag of Beneful is usually around $16.00 in my grocery store. The Just 6 was $18.00. And on Amazon, it’s about the same price ($17). So glad to not be feeding them artificial colors and flavors and a bunch of crap I can’t pronounce. I highly recommend this food. Even my picky eaters went for it. I’m hoping this will take care of some of the itching problems the two newest ones came with. My dogs are miniature dachshunds, chihuahuas, and chi-weenies. I read some reviews that said the “larger” chunks were too big for their small dogs, but my dogs loved them. I live in Arkansas and found this food at Kroger. Hope this review helps.

    best dog food ever
my dogs have weak stomachs and usually throw up a lot, they don’t do this when eating this dog food and they’re super healthy. it’s only got 9 ingredients and it’s a good option without having to pay 90$ for some dog food

    Good for the price.
My 3 dogs like most of Rachel Ray’s dry foods but this one agrees with them the best. It is healthy & appears rich with ingredients. The one thing I noticed, though, is not every bag of food looks the same. Sometimes when I put it into our airtight container, I can see a very visible difference in the food that is already in there from a previous bag vs the new one I am pouring in. The video I have provided is all from the same bag and as you can see, The size and shape of each piece is different. There could be a perfectly good explanation, but I figured I should mention it.

    Best Dog Food
Finally! A good dog food choice that does not break the bank. Thank you Rachel Ray. We have found this to be a healthy choice for our dogs. We used this with our Cane Corso after having serious ear infection problems. Our Vet recommended a food change and it worked. She lived to be 11, a healthy age for a large breed. We feed this to our Bullmastiff who is almost eight and he has no issues. Both dogs had/have a healthy weight, no digestive issues or ear issues. I highly reccommend this food.

Not a true limited dog food !!!
I have used the Racheal Ray limited ingredient Lamb and Rice dog food for a couple years now for my 82 pound boxer/pit mix dog with a seriously sensitive digestive tract back when it was called Just Six. I chose this because it had only ONE meat protein source- lamb ( a novel meat my dog had never had before ) and was also gluten free. This original formula was as close to the ground turkey and rice many vets recommend for you to make and feed your dogs after gastritis ( eating something that upsets their digestive track leading to severe vomiting and diarrhea ) because it’s so limited and easy for most sick dogs to start eating again and keep down. I saw the name change on the bag but never saw anything saying additional ingredients are now added. Instead of a single novel meat protein they have added CHICKEN MEAL which is one of the meats many dogs are reactive to. They also added PEAS, a poor source of protein that lets them add less of the lamb and BARLEY, a grain that is NOT GLUTEN FREE ! So from their Just 6 formula ( which was a godsend to dog parents like me ) to something I do not view as a limited formula, they has lost me as a customer. My dog started having softer and softer stools, scratching ( especially at his chin ) and then vomiting up his meals !!We are struggling to find something he can again digest normally. Anyone facing the same struggles can check out Natural Balance Limited Ingredient and First Mate. Hopefully something in those brands will work for your dog.
