Airtight Pet Food Storage Container Is A Great Value
I purchased the 55 pounds size IRIS Premium Airtight Pet Food Storage Container. I love it! I needed a large, airtight container to store cat food outside. It’s on my carport, but in an area where some rain might reach it in a storm. The container has remained dry on the inside. It was easy to put together. Basically, you just push the four wheels into a slot and then the lid into a slot. I assembled it in under 5 minutes, without any tools or major strength required. The size dimensions listed in the description are correct. The wheels are plastic. A few of the reviews have mentioned issues with wheels breaking. I have wheeled the container a few feet outside on my carport, which is handy, but I haven’t tried rolling it very far. I don’t really need to move the container. Frankly, the wheels are a low priority for me because I’m not using them much. I’d say that the wheels are average in strength when you consider they’re plastic. If you try to roll them over any large obstacles/rocks or very fast, they’ll probably snap off/break. If you just go slowly and avoid obstacles, the wheels should be adequate to move the container smaller distances outdoors or longer distances indoors since it would be over smooth surfaces. I like that the container is clear, so I can guage the amount of cat food I have left at a glance. I find it holds exactly what the description says. I have had it outside during a few storms and it has not leaked or become wet. It’s ideal for me because it keeps nocturnal animals such as opossums and raccoons getting into the cat food. I read in a few of the reviews that I should leave the cat food in the bag if possible, for easier cleaning. It didn’t occur to me when I first got the container to leave the food in the bag, so I’ve been using it with just the loose cat food. It has stayed dry enough that I’ve not had any issues with molding or needing cleaning so far. The plastic is thick enough and the seal is tight enough that it works well. It’s not difficult to snap closed. You simply pull the gray plastic piece up until it clicks into place over the lid. You can hear the snap when it’s closed correctly. I’m very pleased with product and would recommend it to others. Considering how much cat food I’ve lost with it getting wet in a storm or getting stolen by nocturnal creatures before I got this container, it will pay for itself quickly simply in savings. I don’t buy cat food as often. Great value!

I wanted a metal dog food container. I purchased one which said it could hod 40 pounds . I buy a 40# bag of dog food. When I filled the metal container it did not hold 40#. My quess is maybe 35#. I returned the metal container and was looking for a container which can hold the entire bag. I purchased this container and very glad I did . It can hold the 40# bag of dog food. It is on rollers , easy to move and the top can be locked. This was a good feature to me because my previous container which I was still using the top could not be locked.I have two 70# dogs Freya and Cora and I came home one day the bag of 100 rawhide bones was on the floor and my dog ate all 100 bones while I was at work.I purchased a second container. I now have one container for dog food and one container for dog treats. The two containers solved my two problems. I am happy with my decision

Functionality spot on-
Have 6 dogs and needed a large bin to store food. While it isnât air tight nor will it allow the bag to sit inside (fresher if food is in bag) Love the rolling aspect. Love that it holds the large amount of food and doesnât buckle under pressure.It functions well enough for the money and well, I am consistent with dipping into it twice daily. Opens well, assembly, also easy. Doesnât take up a ton of space.

Great seal and durable
This is a perfect dog food holder. The seal on the lid is great and I love the wheels. I just wheel it over to my dogs bowl and scoop out his food. This size easily holds 45 lbs of dog food.

Bought to keep animals out of the food bag. Thereâs an airtight seal that is wonderful for keeping the food smell in the container and keeping the food fresh. It stores a 50lb bag of dog food. Lid quality is decent but wish the latch was more sturdier. Also love that you can take the wheels off and use it without wheels.
