Last year, my vet said my dog would need to come in for dental cleaning. The tartar was really bad and her breath was awful (it really was.). The way she behaves would require sedation, and it would be costly. I did some research and tripped over this product. I went in about 6 months later and asked the doc if she needed her teeth done and she said not at all, and asked what I was using so she could add it to her list for her clients. There’s a lot of teeth cleaning products out there. This one does work!

I was told about this product by my vet. I brought my rescue dog to the vet for the first time one month after the adoption. My dog did not trust me at that point to brush his teeth so I asked my vet for ideas. One idea my vet mentioned was this powder. She had worked with a rescue organization in Texas which was regularly using this powder on meals for the rescue dogs as a preventative measure for tooth decay.My dog enjoys the taste and his teeth look great and healthy. It takes around a month to use up the bottle on my dog’s meals. It is a bit pricey to buy on a monthly basis, but I’ve found it to be effective and worth it.

Update Nov 10 2019——————-I took my dog in for a re-check after being on this for about 6 weeks. He told me that her gums looked much more healthy and that her level of disease went from a grade 3/4 to a grade 1/2. He was pleased with the reduction but showed me some pockets that were still there and felt she could benefit from a cleaning and then continuing with this product and our brushing to hopefully prevent or limit the need for future cleanings. Thankfully she did not need any teeth pulled and now her teeth are clean. I will check back after a few months to let you know how this product along with brushing helps to maintain her clean teeth.Original Review——————–Last summer I took my dog Millie to the vet for her annual check up and we were told she needed her teeth cleaned. I had noticed her breath was bad but had not looked at her teeth. I started brushing them right away and we made some headway with her breath and her gums looked better but she still had a lot of black tartar or plaque on her teeth.I was thinking that we were going to have to break down and do the teeth cleaning but decided to try this as a last resort. A few days after I started when I brushed her teeth I noticed a lot of black stuff on the tooth brush. At that point I could not see a difference in her teeth.It had been a couple days since I had really looked while I was brushing so today when I was brushing I took a closer look and could not believe the difference. We had been brushing regularly for 2 months and I was not getting any kind of results like this so I think the brushing is just brushing off the loosened debris. That stuff was on their rock solid for two months of brushing so I know its this product that has made the difference.I am hopeful that the rest of it will come off in the next couple weeks. I think there is benefit if you are not brushing, but brushing helps gum health.I am using 1/4 tsp on her food twice a day. I do not mix it in, I just put it right on top of her food and I would say she likes the taste. Something is wrong with product
When I first ordered it was a nice white powder, last 2-3 orders are full of hard chunks and off color like it’s moisture damaged.

Works great!My chihuahuas almost 16 and he’s had bad teeth and gums….Also has knock out gas breath lol (Kisses are not a problem..Today people won’t drop dead or run if kissed by him 😚💗🐕). My best friend means allot and he loves these things very much! Pretty picky with other dog treats, but he really loves these thank goodness 🦴🥳😊Got him this because I can’t afford the vet cost at the moment…and don’t want to take out a bank loan lol.Only complaint is I wish the cost didn’t fluctuate, especially after I purchased it. It’s gone up 10 bucks since I purchased it, so hopefully it doesn’t go up more. 🙏Hope the price goes down soon, however my little dude is small and doesn’t need a big dose thankfully. Sooner pay for this then the vet cost any day regardless.Happy to find this product, it’s definitely worth the cost as it works well within a few days or less. Plaque is seriously visibly reduced dramatically..his gum bleeding has pretty much disappeared also.

Good but expensive, would buy it regularly if it was cheaper. My cat actually has to chew these instead of just swallowing it whole. He didn’t like them at first but came around and liked them after a week or 2.

I love this product. I read somewhere that it helps stop the tear stains in white dogs so as I have a Maltese, I decided to try it. I think it works by killing the bacteria that causes the staining. It worked very well and I sent for more. Highly recommended.
