This is my first ever Amazon review, and I wanted to be sure to write one about this product for all those who love their precious fur babies.I recently traveled with United Airlines from NJ to AZ. This was my furbabies first flight and I wanted to make sure it would be as smooth and comfortable for him as possible. Though I already had a carrier, it was cheap and beat up so I decided to purchase a new one! I am so glad I did.As soon as I took this carrier out the box, the quality and design compared to the $30 dollar carrier I originally had was excellent. This carrier is sturdy and perfect for my fur baby, who is about 12lbs. It’s important to note that this carries exceeds the TSA length requirement by 2 inches, but I had no problem getting through and boarding onto my flight with United.As mentioned before, I really appreciate the quality of this carrier. It’s obvious that it’s design for the comfort of my pet but also myself as well. The shoulder strap provided comfortable support for carrying. I also appreciated the liner/bed inside the carrier. My kitty loved its plush and took to it well! It’s super easy to clean which is an awesome bonus.Another important things to note is the quality of the mesh windows. My old carrier had mesh made out of fabric that easily ripped, the quality of this carrier is so much better and is sturdy enough to withstand claws. The fold up parts of the mesh windows seemed to be finicky at first, but came in handy when actually traveling through the airport as I was able to close and open them whenever I needed.This carrier quickly became my kitties safe place. He is typically not fond of being stuck in a bag, but with its spaciousness Mr. Peanuts Pet Carrier changed the game for us!

Big Enough
I took my Chiweinie on a trip and needed a large enough but comfortable carrier for her to make the trip in. After searching for some time, I settled for this carrier, and while she isn’t use to being in a carrier, she did well on the trip to and back from our destination. It’s expandable for additional room, pockets for meds, papers, etc…a carry handle, and a strap to take it on a shoulder. It’s vented so there is ventilation and the cushion in it is comfortable as well. I recommend this or any Mr. Peanuts carriers for your pet.

I purchased the double expansion (old, butterfly-like version) of this a few years ago. Due to various reasons I had to re-purchase one and I wish I had just gone straight back to Mr Peanuts.I was trying to get a cheaper carrier but alas none of them were worth it. Either they were too small for my 12lb cat or the zippers or mesh didn’t hold up for flights of even a few hours. I did A LOT of research. Purchased a lot of test carriers that were less expensive. And in the end I decided it’s not worth feeling a furry paw on your foot during a flight when you know that paw is supposed to be inside the carrier (true story).I debated the one vs. two expandable version of this and decided that I preferred the option of being able to close one of the sides OR have it open when he’s inside (the double sided expansion has to be covered on both sides when it’s closed). Very comfortably fit under the seat in front of me.My usually chill void cat becomes banshee-like inside any carrier and this was no exception – except I think he was more comfortable with the cushioning and the square expansion (which I also like better than the butterfly-type expansion). He still tried his damndest to get out of that mesh portion – he’s a big boy and has gotten out of things before… I was **incredibly** impressed with the strength of the mesh on this. he inside leash is a good length.A few things that could be better:He had an accident, I washed the insert with no problem. I would have preferred for the expandable portion cushion to be detachable so I could wash that as well. Additionally the straps on this (as well as the previous version that I have) are uncomfortable if you’re carrying this on your shoulder, maybe more so if you have a pet over 10lbs. The short straps are of an awkward length and I felt like I was jostling him while walking through the airport. There must be a better way! Of course, if you have a rolling carry on, you’re best bet is to use a strap to hold the carrier in place on top of that.I’ll be using this again in a few months for a flight, so I’ll update this then if anything further (and will take a better picture!)

This pet carrier is super sturdy, with a very soft bed, nice leather handles, easy to manage side extension, and a slot to go on your suitcase. I like that there’s less open sides as my dog is a tad reactive. It’s very high quality and definitely worth the money. My dog 19 lb corgi is a bit too big for it, but it’ll work for short distances. My cats absolutely it and sit inside it whenever it’s on the ground. Overall I’d definitely recommend this carrier if you want something well-made!

Highly crafted and excellent quality. Only upgrade I would give this product is that the zippers were stronger. Otherwise excellent purchase for the price 👍
