Works great on my poodle’s coat
I recently got a beautiful white Standard Poodle, and boy, her coat is dense. My groomer recommended brushing her with this kind of brush, so I bought one.She does not object at all to being brushed with this brush, in fact, I think she’s starting to enjoy it. I brush a little bit of her coat every day – a leg, her back, etc.Poodles don’t shed much so this brush doesn’t remove a lot of hair, but I think it does take off any loose hairs. It also takes off an incredible amount of dirt! My dog loves to roll in leaves, dirt, mud, etc. In lieu of giving her a bath every time she does this, I just let it dry then brush her with the slicker brush, and it takes her coat back to how it looked when she last went to the groomer. It is very effective and she seems to enjoy it.

– main slicker brush: I have one Christensen slicker. though this is not made in wood, it turns out the slickers are longer than Christensenâs and well suits the long hair Samoyed.- metal slicker: this is heavier and more sturdy than my old one from my friend.- flea brush: would be super helpful if my dogs caught the fleas or burs!(Those are nightmares!!!)- bath brush is handy during bath. My golden likes it and helps to bring hair out during bath.Overall, I spent $40+ on Christensen for only one product. And $25 for four tools whole package. Great deal!

This set does the job. My doodles coat needs almost daily attention the main brush does just that, the comb is good for the small knots. The small hand brush is too small for my doodles hair, but does work on my Danes fur..

I have a lab/blue heeler mix and her double coat is very thick and constantly in a state of renewal. I was hoping this set would be an improvement on others I have tried. Sadly, it is not an improvement for us. My dog loves to be brushed, but she only tolerated the brush, didn’t love it like she normally does. She did like the bath brush. The slicker brush did remove a good bit of hair but it’s a nightmare to clean it out. And when you have a thick coated dog, you are cleaning that sucker out every 2 minutes. I’ll probably just go back to my previous brush where the bristles retract for cleaning it out.
