Sturdy, comfortable straps
I was worried about the sizing of this, because it seems like the distance between dog legs is super important. But this does work well as long as you get a size somewhere in the vicinity of your dogs measurements.This is lightweight and easy to fold up and pack. I like to carry a lift harness on long hikes, in case my older dog gets tired and needs to be carried. This lift harness is easy to put on your dog, and has upper straps to keep them snug inside. The arm straps come with a padded section to go over your shoulder so the straps donât dig in to your arm. They can be adjusted, and seem pretty sturdy.

his boy bits were squished a bit
–No instructions. My gentle lab was patient as I tried to figure it out, and I am not entirely sure I got it.–Wish it was a little easier or straight forward to put on. I think once/if I figured it out and did it enough times that it might become easier and quicker.–It is a very good thing to have. You never know when you might need an assist lift. Using a big towel or blanket isnt always doable, nor is safest option.–Size seemed ok. The picture shows an English yellow lab that looks about same size as my yellow English guy. My dude still has his boy bits, and I found that this squished them up a bit. If no testicles then this wont be an issue.I will hold onto this. When looking at other options, this one seems to have the appearance of good balance, especially if really needing to carry the dog. Yet the other styles seem easier and leaves the rear end open for testicles. I will keep this in the meantime as a just in case. If we hiked more, I would add this into my pack as it is good to have something in case dog cant keep going.I’ll update if I play around with it more and get something figured out. Hate to squish my boys balls if I dont need to
