Slowed down my fast eater
My dog started eating so fast that he was making himself sick. This has slowed down his eating and even made it so we could free feed again! The bowl is quality made, fits the 2.5 cups of food he eats without issue, and the price is perfect. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t have suction cups like other slow feeders and it didn’t fit inside his bowl like I thought it would, however those are both my fault for not checking before I purchased it. Over all it is a quality product and has served our needs well.

My dog tends to eat to fast and then throw up.
I think that the bowl was designed more for kibble. I make my dog, homemade dog food it does work for homemade dog food but itâs harder for him to get all the rice in the crevices. Itâs a nice bowl that is easy to clean. Good size for a large to extra large dog. It slows him down eating and he stopped throwing up from eating so fast. I believe the bowl will last a long time.

I ordered this for my Rottweiler puppy who eats way too fast and causes himself to throw up from not chewing his food. This bowl has made him work for the food which causes eating to slow down, has its desired effect that deserves its five stars.

Best invention ever!
The dog now takes his time eating because it takes time to get all of the food out of the bowl. He used to eat food in less than a minute. Now it takes him 5!

Perfect solution for an overeater
This product is excellent. I was having a problem with one of my dogs eating her food too fast, which would cause her to overeat as she would finish her bowl before my other two dogs. Then, she would linger around or push them out of the way to eat the rest of their food. This bowl has solved that problem entirely. It now takes her three to four times as long to eat her food, and by the time she finishes, she is no longer interested in the leftovers in the other bowls.This was an excellent purchase, and I am very happy I made it. If you have a dog that eats too quickly and disrupts other pets’ mealtime, the WHIPPY Large Slow Feeder Dog Bowl is a perfect solution. Highly recommended!
