A sturdy brace when the right tool; awkward for piddling
Our springer has been a little slow due to a hind strain and we were advised to try a brace like this. It seems the design is fit-for-purpose. While a fine idea for us, and the medium was an adequate size for our 50# dog, he really didn’t like it and, of all the issues, it interfered when he needed to piddle and we just couldn’t work around that easily. His biggest discomfort is stairs (our living space is all on 2nd floor) and this did not help for that, so I generally carry him or he just goes slowly. So our use case wasn’t a great fit.

Good Quality
My dog would not let itthis brace stay on so I never got to see if it was useful But it is made well and the fitment was good. Problem is dogs don’t know what is good for them.

Sturdy
Easy to use and fits perfectly. Good quality material and holds the leg stable. Works better on large dogs.

Helpful
My senior Yorkie tore his acl recently doing barkour. Due to his age and having kidney disease we opted out of doing the surgery. I ran across this brace to see if it help him a little more especially if he’s walking and running around a lot. The brace is easy to get on if the dog stands still. The video gives a good example on how to do it. The brace fits but is slightly to big from my point of view. The brace helps to keep his long straight but soft enough to move his lef I’d need be. I would definitely try one for your fur baby if they are in this same situation. Their way definitely consult with your vet.

Helping brace my dog’s leg with a torn CCL (sim to ACL in humans)
My dog doesn’t like wearing the brace, but it is well-made and solid. It keeps his stifle stabilized while he is walking around on it. This was recommended by our vet while we observe him. The brace has two metal rods that run down the side of the leg, keeping the stifle stable. It is velcroed around the stifle in 2 places (above and below) and there is a thick band that wraps around his abdomen to keep the brace in place and prevents my dog from being able to remove it. I would purchase again

Unless I was doing something wrong it is impossible to use this product. My dog breed is English Staffy, so he is not tall. I needed for his CCL condition. This product most probably was designed for taller dogs. Could be good idea to add that point in product description
