I have a large 12-year-old cat with terrible arthritis in his hind legs. The medication the vet gave us didn’t seem to do anything, even after 2 weeks of religiously dosing him twice per day. Before trying this product, Sierra (my cat) almost never came down stairs anymore, had stopped grooming himself (had to get him buzzed due to all the mats, and his intolerance of brushing), and spent nearly every hour of every day curled up under my desk.After 3 days of using this, we noticed Sierra was moving around a bit more. By day 4, he was going up and down the stairs throughout the day. By the end of the first week, he was stretching out instead of curling up to sleep, coming to us for attention, jumping up on our laps, and generally seeming bright-eyed and happy. Two weeks in now, we’ve finally seen him grooming his hind legs again for the first time in months. That was the ultimate sell for me. I will be reordering monthly, for the rest of his life or as long as this product is available.One note: he wouldn’t eat his wetfood when I mixed this in with it, but it’s easy enough to give him the 2 mL with a syringe. Also, Sierra has always had a VERY sensitive stomach (most medicines he’s had to take throughout his life have made him throw up at least once) but this has NOT made him vomit even once, not even the few times I had to give it to him on a fairly empty stomach.Update: 2 years and it’s still probably the closest thing to a miracle we’ve got for our old boy. The few times I’ve run out, I’ve noticed him decline again within a week, and after re-starting him on it, his mobility promptly returns. We have to puree his wet food now and give him vitamin B shots + omega 3 oil; old age has made his stomach extra sensitive- but mixing this joint supplement into the puree is easy and he seems to have developed a taste for it. I feel like the price has gone up but it’s still worth every penny. It has definitely prolonged his ability to enjoy life. He climbs to the top of the cat tree every day to bask in the sunny window, and is still the first cat to chase me down the stairs in the morning :,-)

Working quite well for my 12-year old cat
I very rarely review products here but I love cats and wanted to help anyone with an aging kitty. Anyway, my 11-year old indoor cat was showing hip and rear leg stiffness for a while.Itâs one of those things where I realized after a while I should research what to do. I did, came across glucosamine, and then on Amazon found this product.Really within 2-3 days of a full dose every day in her wet food my cat started walking far more smoothly with much less displacement in her rear legs. Sheâs absolutely running around more and Iâm guessing she feels less pain overall.She seems to actually like the taste but definitely tolerates it or doesnât notice it in the wet food.Anyway, highly recommend trying this on any cat showing signs of stiffness or arthritis.

Very good product
My 15-year-old kitty was constantly licking her lower legs, to the point of major hair loss. Thinking this was probably pain from arthritis, I tried another product in the form of a capsule, but she would not accept it when it was sprinkled on her food, and when I gave her the pill to swallow, she would throw up. I decided to try the Nodens because it was a liquid I could give directly into her mouth. I have had no trouble giving her this, and she actually seems to like it. After 10 days of giving this, she has completely stopped the licking and the hair on her legs is regrowing. I think this must mean the pain is gone. The only thing I notice is that she is sleeping more during the day. If this side effect does not go away, I may try reducing the dose. Would definitely recommend this medication.

Amazed at this product!
To make a long story a tad shorter, my cat had hip surgery at a young age due to a femoral head health issue. The vet told me he could develop arthritis at a younger age because of it and recommended to give him joint supplements early. He is a really picky eater so its been tough finding him a supplement he likes. I ended up coming across this and read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Im not kidding when I say this, its almost a night and day difference. My cat before was always a loveable and happy cat but he doesnt normally jump up on their cat tower or get too adventurous doing that sort of thing. Within just a couple of DAYS of giving him the recommended dosage in his food, I notice hes jumping to the top of the cat tower, and on top of that acts more loveable and seems more happy! Im truly amazed at this product and will absolutely continue to use it. Im so glad I came across it and 100% recommend giving it a try!

Update: These drops are so effective! My 14 year old cat runs around and jumps up with no trouble anymore. I’m on my 3rd bottle now. After the initial doubling up period, I give her about .75ml every other day and it works great. Recently she must have hurt herself again and started to limp so I gave her full 1ml dose every day and by 3rd day limp was gone again. This is really great stuff! (PS I just put the drops directly on her dry food now and she eats it no problem.)———-First day I just put the liquid in a dish and my cat lapped it up. Then I read you’re supposed to give with food, so 2nd day I put it on her dry kibble. She wasn’t too keen and ate most if it but didn’t eat it all. So 3rd day I mixed it in with some ground beef and she ate it no problem. So even though it’s a bit of a hassle to put it in ground beef at least she eats it all and she got a lot better within a few days. No more limping and she can jump up on the couch and bed again. She’s 14 now, so I’ll continue to give her this because we humans take glucosamine for our achy joints, so it makes sense that it helps cats too.

It has a strong odour of Soy Sauce. Cat walked away from his food no matter how little i put in his food. Do NOT recommend unless you pet loves the smell of soy sauce. Id give it 0 stars if i could.
