Oliver Loves Honest Kitchen
Oliver wonât eat anything else. Was recommended by the vet at the shelter where we adopted Oliver. I actually did a taste test. Really Good. Human grade. Not kidding. Small kibbles, easy to eat, a bit crunchy but not too hard. Full of vitamins and nutrients. All natural. No fillers. One bag lasts 2 weeks so I am buying on Amazon every two weeks, good price.

honest kitchen wins again
after a short confusing loss, honest kitchen wins again. my little but mighty working dog is allergic to both chicken and all rice. that itself is limiting. i’ve been happily and successfully using the honest kitchen base mixes and alternating beef and salmon protein. but after surgery this summer on my wrist i may be facing a second surgery on it and to be truthful, at my advanced age i need to put her on something that anyone can feed her without cooking.i tried the grain free beef clusters as she was eating the grain free based mixes. but the old allergies arose. i tried a couple other good brands then bought the one pound bag of beef and oats clusters. we are now 15 days in and all is fine. i read reviews and use the powder mixed with water on her lick mats which is great since i have to be so careful about the allergy situation. she still gets half the base mix food i make up but her system is so used to both now someone can swap her cold turkey to one or the other. i’m so happy to be able to stick with honest kitchen as it is an excellent food that all my vets agree on. so next bag will be the 5 pound one. yay for a winner again.

Our Shih Tzu loves this food.
When our old food (Organix) got discontinued I ad to start looking for a new dog food. This food is great quality, better value than our old food, with really clean ingredients. Our pup loves the taste and smell more than her old food. Because of the way itâs made it does break down and the bottom of that bag kind of turns to kibble dust but we just add a little water to that and it makes a kind of doggy oatmeal.

Good for sensitive stomachs and picky eaters
I selected this kibble based on the solid ingredients and given my dog’s sensitivity to poultry.. he is also a notoriously picky eater but chows down on this without hesitation. We go through 1 bag a month mixed alongside a fresh food at each meal.

MY DOG LOVES THIS FOOD BUT..
I have been purchasing this product for a very long time, it is a great choice as far as the Nutrition the company states they use. My finicky dog likes it but every time I receive a bag I find approx. 1 cup+ is wasted due to the fact that at the bottom of every bag much of the food is nothing but powdered food which my dog will not touch. I spoke with the company months ago and they are aware of this problem, said they were trying to make changes that may take care of this problem, as of this date 04/2024, no changes noted. I have purchased the same product & no matter what size kibble I have tried, still I am loosing at least a cup+ since it is all powder. Perhaps creating a HARDER KIBBLE somehow would take care of this problem. This Dog Food is expensive and I hate throwing out a cup+ of powdered food that I have payed for. I purchase other quality dry Dog foods which I mix together with the above Honest Kitchen, never a problem with powdered food in the Bags. I am not sure if I can remain a customer unless they bring the price down due to the waste with every Bag I purchase. I would rather see a HARDER KIBBLE so I can use all of what I am paying for.
