Love it!
These stairs are perfect! I had to work a bit to get my 10 yr old doxie to use. After a few times (snacks), he figured out how easily it was to get up and down. He gets up at night sometimes to use his puddle pad in the kitchen. I would hear him jump off the bed…not good…and then have to get up and help him back up. With these stairs, he can do it on his own – and does!The stairs were easily put together and plumped in no time at all. I attached 3 of the sticky pads to the sides to help stabilize the steps. The material seems very soft and durable. Material seems to be slip resistant as it is corduroy. (?)All in all, great value for the money.22 lb doxie

Very impressed
I have a very tall bed and standard dog stairs don’t work for my bed height, or they stick out too far from the side. My chiweenie has a hard time getting up and down standard steps, so when I saw these stairs that could potentially wrap around the bed and do different configurations, I was extremely intrigued. Now I’m extremely impressed and very happy with the stairs. I also highly recommend them.The foam is extremely durable, and the cover looks like it would be easy to clean, although I have not had to clean it.There is a piece that comes out that creates the turn in the base, (I don’t know if that makes any sense) but it goes all the way through, creating a great little hidey hole for shy animals.The only thing I can think of that might be a drawback is because they are foam and The corner pieces stick underneath the steps. There’s only about a four inch wide back piece (see picture), that is potentially supporting your dog or your cat’s weight, and I definitely don’t recommend that you even lean against the steps with BOTH of those center pieces missing.

This product would be so good if only it werent flimsy!I boiught it for my french bulldog who was having problems getting on the bed,but whenever she gets on it it tumbles over which scares her.If it were sturdier it would be great!

Helping my old guy a lot
I’ve been using a ramp for my old dog, but it had become too steep for him. After a few days using these stairs, he’s getting his confidence back to go up and down without help. The stairs are low enough that he can step up or down fairly well. I tried using the curvy piece to use less room, but he couldn’t learn that trick. And that ends up being ok because I’m using that curve piece to help stabilize the stairs. I have that piece sticking out a bit from the side of the stairs, and that helps give it a bit more stability. That’s the only downside I’ve seen so far – because it’s foam it’s a little tippy when the dog steps onto the top stair from the bed.

Perfect for high bed

Great for small dogs
While looking for a ramp for our Chorkie, we knew we didn’t want anything that was too heavy or cumbersome. We needed something fairly lightweight that we could move around frequently and easily. So, that eliminated any wooden or metal ramps or stairs. These were the perfect compromise, and our little gal took to them immediately. We recently switched to a new bed that is much higher off the ground than our old one. As our little dog has gotten older, we constantly worry about her trying to jump off the bed on her own. These stairs have provided instant relief. I was worried it would take her a while to get used to them, but when I called her into the bedroom to try them out, she climbed them immediately on her own. Now, “stairs” is a somewhat loose term here. This is really more like a ramp that has a slight wave in it. It’s perfect for our needs, but not actually “stairs.” Our Chorkie is around 4 lbs, so her weight really doesn’t present an issue for this product. But I’m not sure how sturdy it would be for a heavier dog. We don’t have a way to test that out. There are some hook-and-loop patches with adhesive included, but the instructions suggest actually sticking them to your bed to secure the ramp. That seems a little odd to me as no one is likely to stick an adhesive patch onto their bedcover or sheets. I’m not really sure how that would work. Anyway, this is exactly what we needed for our little gal, and I’m so glad that we found it!
