Cat loved it right away! Assembly required but easy…tip
I bought this for a stray cat that has been making my porch furniture his home for the last few weeks. He’s very skiddish and took a long time to use even a flat blanket I put out on the porch chair last week. I ran an extension cord (porch is covered, will not be rained on) to the heated bed after assembling it today. He has already curled up in it after only a few hours of being hesitant of the new shape on the chair. It is such peace of mind knowing this little guy won’t be as cold at night. (I also made several insulated cat caves per recommendations online but he has been too scared to use them). I bother giving these details to illustrate that even a skiddish nervous cat will warm up to this cozy bed.Someone in the reviews mentioned “assembly” and technically this fabric bed does need assembly, but that’s because the cover is washable. It’s super easy. Everything comes shrink wrapped. There are two short pillows, one long pillow, and one long pillow with a dip in the middle. The “cover” has zippers on both sides. One side unzips all the way around so you can insert the pillows (small on the sides, long on the back, long with dip on the front). Once you have the pillows zipped in you can flip the cat bed (now shaped like an actual bed) upside down and unzip the pocket that gives you access to the bottom of the cover. You slide the heat pad in there. There is also a rectangular piece of padding that fits in there.At first, I placed the padding between the heat pad and the side where the cat lays, thinking it will make the bed squishier. But I found that the rectangular padding piece significantly reduced the heat that came through the bottom of the bed and basically caused the cat bed to heat whatever you’re setting it on. So I took the padding out and slid it back in, this time under the hot pad. So now the cat bed interior gets warm and whatever I set it on doesn’t get all hot. I put blankets inside the bed so that the bed is cozier inside. You would think that would undo what I just did with the padding, but the heat came through the blankets (thin fleece). So long story short, that rectangular padding piece (it’s grey) is pretty insulating and I think it’s meant to protect whatever you set the bed on.The control lit up momentarily as soon as I plugged it in. Then when I hit the power button it stayed on. The settings are a little weird in terms of what displays. It’s not regular numbers. Like I think the third setting for heat displayed “E5” or something.. does that mean 35? I figured out what I think the second highest setting is and left it on that. The bed warmed up within 5 minutes. Even though the display is weird, I’m super happy with this product overall.The cord is very well protected in a black cover. The cat could not chew on it.I will report back if it malfunctions. Otherwise, this seems like a great little device to keep pets warm in the winter. I shopped around for a lot of outdoor options and this one actually fit the bill better.

No instructions to assemble, but works well
There are no provided instructions to assemble this bed. However, once you figure it out, it works well and our little dog loves it. The bottom is thin, so you may want to add something to add comfort.

Cats love this I use them inside and outside the house my old cats love them in the house and my younger cats that like to be outside more when the weather isn’t wet and cold like to sleep on them in outdoor kitchen.

This bed is spacious and nice fabric There were no assembly instructions The thing I don’t like is the bottom is just a thin piece of fabric Not comfortable at all I tried putting it on a pillow but it’s slides off A folded blanket is all I can find for padding
