How to attach double-sided 3M adhesive:
1. Lie heat pad on flat surface.
2. Turn on the heat pad
3. As pad heats, the pad will become smoother and flatter which will make it easier to apply the 3M adhesive.
How to adjust the temperature of the pad:
Rotate the switch clockwise to turn on, then continue rotating clockwise to adjust temperature from low to high. Then rotate the switch counter clockwise to turn off.
HELPFUL HINTS:
1. When securing heat pad to terrarium make sure it is placed so that reptiles will not have direct contact with the heat pad.
2. For indoor use only.
3. Placing terrariums with an under-tank heat pad on household furniture may cause the furniture’s finish to discolor. Tikaton recommends using a terrarium stand.
4. For use on glass terrariums only. Do not use on wood, plastic, acrylic or any other type terrarium.
Note: The heating temperature of the pad will be affected by the environment, best results are obtained at a room temperature of about 68-86°F (20~30 °C) in winter and less than 113°F (45°C) in summer.

Thought was ok and them bam
The product was working the first week or two and then noticed the temperature dropping. Do, I checked to see if it became unglued. But the heating pad was inflated and blown up like a ballon. This was not cheap and now itâs over the return date by a few days & their website is in Chinese and only translates only certain parts. Now I paid for a product that doesnât work and spend money on a product that could have been VERY DANGEROUS and even burnt down the house or kill my reptile. I would love for my money to be refunded. This is not ok in anyway and highly dangerous. So anyone else looking to purchase beware

Perfect for Gecko
Iâve had it for a year it literally still works. It gets perfect temperature for a leopard gecko his tank literally stays perfect. I have always kept it at the same spot it literally does not move again had it for a year a little over a year actually. And it was super easy to install literally just pick the spot make sure that spot is clean wipe it down and stick it on. If you have a gecko you know you want to have a warm side of the tank and then a cooler side so the size was literally perfect it fit just right. And again had it for year it is very durable.

Tikaton Reptile Heatpad
Works as it should and I like that it has adjustable heat. As the instructions state, plug in and let it heat up before applying the double sided adhesive. Careful, it does get really hot turned up all the way! Be sure to check the temperature before letting your reptile sleep and hangout where the pad is. Iâm using this for a ball python and sure the snake will like it. Highly recommended and will be ordering the larger one for my snakes.

Runs hot
I bought this for my corn snake. Itâs a good product and is small so it fits in most small areas, but it runs really hot. I mean really hot! Itâs hard to tell the temperature without a temp gauge so honestly I wouldnât recommend this product and I wouldnât buy it again. It was running so hot even after I turned the dial down, I ended up removing it afraid it would kill my snake. Stick to getting one with a temp gauge for your pets. I found myself checking it constantly throughout the day to make sure it was the right temp which was hard to distinguish. Either too hot or too cold. Be careful. Otherwise, it was easy to use – just plug it in and turn it on. Itâs not sticky, and had a nice flat surface. Itâs pretty durable too, I had it placed under a glass terrarium.

Keeps my toads nice an warm
I love using this in the winter to keep my toads warm, especially their bath! I live in a cold area of the house, so i wanted to monitor the ambience of my terrarium to give me some peace of mind. This did the trick! It’s very easy to set up and adjust. Make sure it’s only on one side of the terrarium if you have toads, so they can move if they get too warm. They will always tell you if it’s too hot. I set mine at 73-75 degrees and it’s perfect! Make sure to set it lower than you think you need to if you have a humidity of 60% or higher, the moisture will raise the temp, but the thermometer will pick that up.
