My cats love to have their ears scratched on the outer ear but then they position their head ear so that if I don’t move my fingers, at least one of my fingers will inadvertently end up in their ear. YUCK! So, if I notice a lot of head shaking, ear scratching, etc. I know they must need their ears cleaned.So, until now, I just used a cotton swab with a bit of warm water and gently wipe their ears. It is not always easy, so when this product was available, I absolutely wanted to try it!These Trunahcao Ear Wipes for dogs and cats are SO awesome! I just put one on my finger and clean my cats ear. At first, the cats weren’t too keen on the idea, but then I thought I wouldn’t like a cold weird cloth moving around in my ear canal either. So, now i try to warm the wipe prior to putting it in their ears and it does seem to help. They seem to LOVE having their ears cleaned now. Hahaha

Does well on our Munchkin cat.
For a cleaning cloth these work pretty good for the ears. I use them on my Munchkin cat from time to time. Her ears really don’t ge that dirty, so it’s hard to say how much dirt they will actually remove, tho for the little she does get, it removes the dirt and some of the oils that do accumulate. They are a good size for holding while working on the ears, the cat doesn’t seem to mind them at all.

I’ve usually just used baby wipes to clean the cats’ ears but now that I’ve tried these – I don’t think I’m going back to wipes.My family runs a kitten/cat rescue so we have to clean ears a lot. These are great and the cats seem to like them better than the baby wipes we were using.The size is perfect for the job and whatever is in them seems to help the cats relax. HIGHLY recommend.

Youâll want to warm this up before you stick them in an animalâs ear
I tried this on my own ear first, and I donât know if thereâs something in there that creates a cooling sensation, or if it was just a temperature of the wipes, but they seemed very cold to me. When I tried it out on my cat, I first peeled one of these thin discs off the stack, and I put it on my neck where it naturally adhered adhered. I left it on there for a few minutes to warm up and then I used it on my older cat , whose ears itch her sometimes. She resisted the unfamiliar sensation at first, but then she leaned into it. We kept it short and sweet today. I would expect from that response that she will come to be very tolerant of these. I think thereâs enough padding on this to protect her ear from my fingernail, which is not excessively long, but itâs still there. Overall, very pleased with this product.

“Quats” on ingredient list??
These wipes contain calendula and chamomile, great soothing ingredients for cats’ ears. However, the last ingredient listed on the container is quats, which I had never heard of. Upon researching, it appears its a group of chemicals used as preservatives or disinfectants. You get a lot of wipes in the tub, so these are a good value. I think these are easier to use than the kind that go over your finger, as only the tip seems to reach anything with those. These are soft and on the thinner side but strong enough that they didn’t rip. They were so saturated that I had to squeeze some of the liquid out of them, but that is better than being too dry. There is no scent, and they dont seem to irritate my cats’ ears. They seem good, but I will need to do some further reading about quats before I feel 100% confidence in these.

Non-burning pet ear wipes
My cat hates having her ears cleaned but they get gross and waxy. I usually use a cotton ball with witch hazel and aloe because I dont want anything chemical that could be painful. So I was nervous to try these. But happily she did not freak out. There seemed to be no discomfort. Got the job done. However, I think this would be much easier to use on dogs than cats, because of their small ears.

I actually ordered these for my cats, they work perfectly for dogs or cats and are super gentle. There is nothing in them that is actually medicated, they are just wipes to remove any wax/detritus. The wipes themselves are textured so they are perfect for cleaning, they don’t irritate the ears any more and they work well. There is no noticeable fragrance, they just smell clean. There are so many in the jar that they last forever as well. Very reasonable price.
